ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ٱكْتَالُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ يَسْتَوْفُونَ ﴿٢﴾
[83:2] Those who demand full measure from the people when dealing with them-
وَإِذَا كَالُوهُمْ أَو وَّزَنُوهُمْ يُخْسِرُونَ ﴿٣﴾
[83:3] -but when they measure or weigh, they cheat.
أَلَا يَظُنُّ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَنَّهُم مَّبْعُوثُونَ ﴿٤﴾
[83:4] Do they not know that they will indeed be resurrected-
يَوْمَ يَقُومُ ٱلنَّاسُ لِرَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ ﴿٦﴾
[83:6] That is the day when people will rise for the Lord of the Multiverse.
كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَٰبَ ٱلْفُجَّارِ لَفِى سِجِّينٍۢ ﴿٧﴾
[83:7] Absolutely, the book of the evildoers is in Sejeen.
وَمَا يُكَذِّبُ بِهِۦٓ إِلَّا كُلُّ مُعْتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ ﴿١٢﴾
[83:12] And no one denies it except every transgressor, sinner.
إِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ ءَايَٰتُنَا قَالَ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ﴿١٣﴾
[83:13] When Our signs are recited to him, he says, tales from the past.
كَلَّا بَلْ رَانَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ ﴿١٤﴾
[83:14] Absolutely, their hearts have been sealed because of what they earned.
كَلَّآ إِنَّهُمْ عَن رَّبِّهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لَّمَحْجُوبُونَ ﴿١٥﴾
[83:15] Absolutely, indeed they will be isolated from their Lord on that day.
ثُمَّ إِنَّهُمْ لَصَالُوا۟ ٱلْجَحِيمِ ﴿١٦﴾
[83:16] Then, they will be thrown into the Inferno.
ثُمَّ يُقَالُ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ ﴿١٧﴾
[83:17] Then they will be told; this is what you used to deny.
كَلَّآ إِنَّ كِتَٰبَ ٱلْأَبْرَارِ لَفِى عِلِّيِّينَ ﴿١٨﴾
[83:18] Absolutely, the book of the righteous is in Ellieen.
تَعْرِفُ فِى وُجُوهِهِمْ نَضْرَةَ ٱلنَّعِيمِ ﴿٢٤﴾
[83:24] You will recognize in their faces the joy of bliss.
يُسْقَوْنَ مِن رَّحِيقٍۢ مَّخْتُومٍ ﴿٢٥﴾
[83:25] Their thirst will be quenched with drinks mixed with nectar.
خِتَٰمُهُۥ مِسْكٌۭ وَفِى ذَٰلِكَ فَلْيَتَنَافَسِ ٱلْمُتَنَٰفِسُونَ ﴿٢٦﴾
[83:26] Its spice will be musk. This is what the seekers should seek.
عَيْنًۭا يَشْرَبُ بِهَا ٱلْمُقَرَّبُونَ ﴿٢٨﴾
[83:28] A spring, from which the close ones drink.
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أَجْرَمُوا۟ كَانُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ يَضْحَكُونَ ﴿٢٩﴾
[83:29] Indeed those who were guilty used to laugh at the faithful
وَإِذَا مَرُّوا۟ بِهِمْ يَتَغَامَزُونَ ﴿٣٠﴾
[83:30] And whenever they passed by them, they poked fun.
وَإِذَا ٱنقَلَبُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِمُ ٱنقَلَبُوا۟ فَكِهِينَ ﴿٣١﴾
[83:31] And when they returned to their families, they treated them disrespectfully.
وَإِذَا رَأَوْهُمْ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَضَآلُّونَ ﴿٣٢﴾
[83:32] And whenever they saw them, they said; these have really lost their way.
فَٱلْيَوْمَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلْكُفَّارِ يَضْحَكُونَ ﴿٣٤﴾
[83:34] However, today the faithful laugh at the unfaithful.
هَلْ ثُوِّبَ ٱلْكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْعَلُونَ ﴿٣٦﴾
[83:36] Should the unfaithful not be requited for what they did?
