[62:1] Glorifying God constantly is everything in the vacua and within matter and He is The King, The Holy, The Almighty, The All Wise.

[62:2] He is the One who has appointed amongst the laymen a messenger from themselves in order to recite to them His signs and to sanctify them, and to teach them the scripture and wisdom, and they were before this in manifest straying-

[62:3] -as well as others from amongst them who have not yet joined them. And He is The Almighty, The All Wise.

[62:4] This is a bounty from God that He bestows upon whomever He wills. And God possesses infinite bounty.

[62:5] The example of those who were to uphold the Torah and subsequently failed to uphold it, is like a donkey which carries loads of literature. Such is the bad example of the people who rejected God's Signs. And God does not guide the transgressing people.

[62:6] Say, O you who are Judeans, if you think that you are God's friends to the exclusion of all the people, then you should look forward to death, if you are truthful!

[62:7] However, they never look forward to it because of what their hands have sent forth. And God knows all about the trangressors.

[62:8] Say, the death from which you are fleeing will eventually catch up with you. Then you will return to The Knower of all secrets and declarations, He then will inform you of everything you have done.

[62:9] O you faithful, when the announcement of the contact prayer on Friday is called, you shall rush to the remembrance of God, and drop all business. This is better for you if you only knew.

[62:10] Then once the contact prayer is finished, you shall disperse throughout the land, and seek God's bounty and remember God frequently that you may succeed.

[62:11] However, when they see a business or amusement, they rush to it and leave you standing. Say, what is reserved at God is far better than any amusement or business. And God is the best Provider.
