[65:1] O you prophet, when you divorce women, you shall divorce them according to their prescribed interim, and you shall count their interim exactly. And you shall fear God your Lord, and you shall not evict them from their homes and neither shall they leave unless they commit a proven vice. And these are God's limits. And anyone who transgresses God's limits, He has transgressed against his own soul. You may not know it, but God may open up another door afterwards.

[65:2] Thereafter, when they fulfill their interim, you shall let them stay amicably or let them go amicably; this shall be witnessed by two equitable witnesses from amongst you, and establish the testimony for the sake of God. He thus enlightens those who believe in God and the Last Day and whoever fears God, He will find an exit for him.

[65:3] And He provides for him from where he could never imagine. And anyone who puts his trust in God; it will be sufficient for him. God will surely fulfill His commands. Indeed God's power reigns over all things.

[65:4] As for those women who have reached menopause, when in doubt, their interim shall be three months. As for those women who do not menstruate because of pregnancy, their interim shall be until childbirth. And whoever fears God, He will make his task easy.

[65:5] This is God's command that He has revealed to you. And the one who fears God; He will remit his sins and grants him a great recompense.

[65:6] Let them stay in the same place that you live, according to your means, and do not make things difficult for them. And if they are pregnant, then spend on them until they deliver their baby. And if they breastfeed for you, give them their due wage and maintain an amicable relation amongst yourselves. And if you find it difficult, then hire a nursing mother.

[65:7] Let the rich spend according to his wealth and the poor according to what God has provided for him, God does not put any burden on anyone beyond what He has given him. God will quicken relief after every hardship.

[65:8] And many communities opposed the command of their Lord and His messengers, consequently, We called them to account, through ultimate mathematics, and We made them suffer, a horrendous suffering.

[65:9] Then, they tasted the result of their deeds, and the consequences of their deeds were harmful.

[65:10] God has promised them an ultimate suffering, therefore fear God, O you who possess vision, and have attained faith. God has indeed revealed to you a reminder.

[65:11] A messenger recites God's proven Signs to you in order to take the faithful who lead a righteous life out of the darkness into the light. And whoever has faith in God, He will admit him into paradises with flowing streams beneath them to abide therein forever. God thus provides the best provision for him.

[65:12] God is the One who created seven vacua and of matter similar ones. His command descends upon them in order for you to realize that God is All Powerful over all things and that God's knowledge encompasses all things.
