[15:1] ALR. These are the proofs of this scripture, a profound Quran.

[15:2] Indeed the unfaithful wished they were peace offerors.

[15:3] Leave them alone as they eat and rejoice and are preoccupied with wishful thinking, they will soon find out.

[15:4] And We did not annihilate any community except according to a predetermined record.

[15:5] And there is not a single group of people who can shorten or lengthen their interim.

[15:6] And they said, O you who have received the reminder, you are indeed possessed by demons.

[15:7] Why do you not bring us the angels if you are truthful?

[15:8] We would not send the angels except truthfully, then they will not have a respite.

[15:9] We have indeed revealed this reminder and We will surely be its guardian.

[15:10] And We indeed sent messengers before you to the previous groups.

[15:11] And there was not a single messenger who was not ridiculed.

[15:12] We thus expose the hearts of the guilty. 

[15:13] They will not believe in it, just as it was indeed the tradition of the previous generations.

[15:14] Even if We open up a gate in the sky that they can constantly ascend through it -

[15:15] –they would indeed say, our eyes have been intoxicated, we are a people who have been bewitched.

[15:16] And surely We placed constellations in the sky and adorned it for the beholders.

[15:17] And guarded it from every rejected devil.

[15:18] As for the one who eavesdrops, then a profound projectile chases him. 

[15:19] And We stretched the land and placed on it stabilizers, and developed in it all kinds of things in a balanced manner.

[15:20] And We created therein sustenance for you as well as for the ones you could not provide for.

[15:21] And there is nothing that We do not possess infinite amounts, but We send it in exact measure.

[15:22] And We send the wind to move heavy clouds, then We send down water from the sky and We quench your thirst therewith, and none belongs to you.

[15:23] And indeed We grant life and death and We are the inheritor.

[15:24] And We surely know those who are ahead amongst you and We know those who are behind.

[15:25] And your Lord will indeed gather them all. Indeed He is All Wise, All Knowing.

[15:26] And We surely created the human being from clay, from aged black mud.

[15:27] As for the Jinn, We created him before that from blazing fire.

[15:28] And when your Lord said to the angels that I am indeed the Creator of a human being from clay, from aged black mud -

[15:29] –then once I perfect him and blow into him from My Spirit, thereafter, you shall honor him. 

[15:30] Then, the angels honored him, all of them –

[15:31] –except Iblis who refused to join those who honored him. 

[15:32] He said, O Iblis, what prevented you from joining those who honored him?

[15:33] He said, I am not to honor a human being whom You created him from clay, from aged black mud. 

[15:34] He said, then get out of here for you are rejected.

[15:35] And damnation will be upon you until the Day of Faith.

[15:36] He said, Lord respite me until the Day of Resurrection.

[15:37] He said indeed you have a respite. 

[15:38] Until the day with a specific known time.

[15:39] He said, Lord because you enticed me, I will adorn everything on the land for them and I will definitely entice them all – 

[15:40] –except your servants who are devoted purely to You.

[15:41] He said; this is My straight path.

[15:42] As for my servants, you will indeed have no authority over them, except the strayers who follow you. 

[15:43] And surely Gehenna is promised to them all.

[15:44] It has seven gates; each gate assigned to a specific group of them.  

[15:45] Indeed the god-fearing will enjoy paradises with flowing springs.

[15:46] Enter therein with peace and security. 

[15:47] And We will remove all jealousy from their hearts; they will be brethrens, on furnishings side by side.

[15:48] No hardship will ever touch them and they will never be evicted therefrom. 

[15:49] Inform My servants that I am indeed The All Forgiving, The All Merciful.

[15:50] And that indeed My retribution is most agonizing. 

[15:51] And inform them about the guests of Abraham.  

[15:52] When they entered, they said, peace, he said, we are indeed apprehensive of you. 

[15:53] They said; do not be apprehensive; we are indeed giving you the good news of a knowledgeable son. 

[15:54] He said; are you giving me the good news despite my old age, are you sure you are giving this good news? 

[15:55] They said; we are giving you the good news truthfully; therefore do not resort to despair.

[15:56] He said, and who would despair from his Lord's mercy except those who have gone astray.

[15:57] He said, what is your mission O you messengers? 

[15:58] They said; we are dispatched to the guilty people. 

[15:59] As for the family of Lot, we will indeed save them all,- 

[15:60] -except for his wife, she is indeed destined to be one of the doomed. 

[15:61] Then when the messengers arrived at Lot's family – 

[15:62] –he said, you are indeed people we do not recognize. 

[15:63] They said; we are bringing to you what they doubted. 

[15:64] And we are bringing to you the truth, and we are indeed truthful.  

[15:65] Therefore, take your family during the night, and follow behind them and none of you shall look back and fulfill this exactly as you are commanded.

[15:66] And We delivered this instruction to him, for indeed these people will be uprooted in the morning. 

[15:67] And the people of the city came joyfully.

[15:68] He said, indeed these are my guests; do not embarrass me. 

[15:69] And fear God and do not disgrace me.

[15:70] They said; did we not enjoin you from contacting other people? 

[15:71] He said; here are my daughters if you must.

[15:72] Indeed it was no good, for they were blind by their intoxication.

[15:73] Then the thunder came upon them in the morning.

[15:74] We then made it upside down and showered them with devastating mud-like rocks.

[15:75] Surely in this, there are warnings for those who desire handsome men. 

[15:76] Indeed this is the eternal method. 

[15:77] Surely in this, there is a sign for the faithful. 

[15:78] Surely, the people of the woods were indeed unjust. 

[15:79] We sought vengeance from them and indeed both of them are kept in a profound record. 

[15:80] And indeed the people who practiced interdiction rejected the messengers.

[15:81] And indeed We presented to them Our signs, but they were totally averse towards them. 

[15:82] And they used to carve secure homes in the mountains. 

[15:83] Then, the thunder came to them in the morning. 

[15:84] Nothing that they earned enriched them. 

[15:85] And We did not create the vacua and matter and what is between the two of them except truthfully. As for the Hour, it is surely coming; therefore, treat it with benign neglect.  

[15:86] Indeed your Lord is The Creator, The All Knower. 

[15:87] And surely, We have given you the seven pairs and the great Quran.  

[15:88] Do not have an eye of admiration for what We have given some of them and do not grieve over them and lower your wings for the faithful. 

[15:89] And say, I am a proven warner. 

[15:90] In the same manner We also revealed to the dividers. 

[15:91] Those who accept the Quran partially. 

[15:92] Therefore, by your Lord, We will indeed question them all – 

[15:93] –about everything they have done. 

[15:94] Therefore, carry out what you are commanded to do and turn away from those who set up partners for god. 

[15:95] Indeed We suffice the mockers. 

[15:96] Those who set up another god with God. They will soon find out. 

[15:97] We know that you get angry because of what they say. 

[15:98] Therefore, you shall glorify and praise your Lord and join those who prostrate. 

[15:99] And worship your Lord until you attain certainty.
