بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
In the name of God, The All Gracious, The All Merciful

[19:1] KaafHaYaAinSaad
2250 1231 1269 476 549 - - 402 -
ذِكْرُ رَحْمَتِ رَبِّكَ عَبْدَهُۥ زَكَرِيَّآ٢
[19:2] A reminder regarding the mercy of your Lord upon His servant Zechariah-
2251 1232 1270 477 550 - - 403 -
إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥ نِدَآءً خَفِيًّۭا٣
[19:3] -as he called upon his Lord, a secret calling.
2252 1233 1271 478 - - - - -
قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّى وَهَنَ ٱلْعَظْمُ مِنِّى وَٱشْتَعَلَ ٱلرَّأْسُ شَيْبًۭا وَلَمْ أَكُنۢ بِدُعَآئِكَ رَبِّ شَقِيًّۭا٤
[19:4] He said, my Lord, indeed my bones have become brittle and my hair has turned gray, and I have never been disappointed from calling upon You.

وَإِنِّى خِفْتُ ٱلْمَوَٰلِىَ مِن وَرَآءِى وَكَانَتِ ٱمْرَأَتِى عَاقِرًۭا فَهَبْ لِى مِن لَّدُنكَ وَلِيًّۭا٥
[19:5] And indeed I fear for my family after me, and my wife is sterile, therefore grant me from your special place an heir.

يَرِثُنِى وَيَرِثُ مِنْ ءَالِ يَعْقُوبَ وَٱجْعَلْهُ رَبِّ رَضِيًّۭا٦
[19:6] Let him be my inheritor and an inheritor from Jacobs’ clan and my Lord make him pleasing.
2255 1236 1274 481 552 - - 405 -
يَٰزَكَرِيَّآ إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلَٰمٍ ٱسْمُهُۥ يَحْيَىٰ لَمْ نَجْعَل لَّهُۥ مِن قَبْلُ سَمِيًّۭا٧
[19:7] O Zechariah, We indeed give you the good news of a son whose name shall be John, We never called anyone by that name before.
2256 1237 1275 482 - - - - -
قَالَ رَبِّ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِى غُلَٰمٌۭ وَكَانَتِ ٱمْرَأَتِى عَاقِرًۭا وَقَدْ بَلَغْتُ مِنَ ٱلْكِبَرِ عِتِيًّۭا٨
[19:8] He said, my Lord, how can I have a son when my wife is sterile and I have attained old age?

قَالَ كَذَٰلِكَ قَالَ رَبُّكَ هُوَ عَلَىَّ هَيِّنٌۭ وَقَدْ خَلَقْتُكَ مِن قَبْلُ وَلَمْ تَكُ شَيْـًۭٔا٩
[19:9] He said, thus says your Lord, it is easy for Me, just as I created you and you were nothing.

قَالَ رَبِّ ٱجْعَل لِّىٓ ءَايَةًۭ قَالَ ءَايَتُكَ أَلَّا تُكَلِّمَ ٱلنَّاسَ ثَلَٰثَ لَيَالٍۢ سَوِيًّۭا١٠
[19:10] He said, my Lord give me a sign. He said your sign is to be that you would not speak to people for three consecutive nights.

فَخَرَجَ عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلْمِحْرَابِ فَأَوْحَىٰٓ إِلَيْهِمْ أَن سَبِّحُوا۟ بُكْرَةًۭ وَعَشِيًّۭا١١
[19:11] He then came out of the sanctuary to his people and he signaled them to glorify day and night.

يَٰيَحْيَىٰ خُذِ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ بِقُوَّةٍۢ وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُ ٱلْحُكْمَ صَبِيًّۭا١٢
[19:12] O John, uphold the scripture strongly. And We gave him wisdom even as a child.
2261 1242 1280 487 554 - - 407 -
وَحَنَانًۭا مِّن لَّدُنَّا وَزَكَوٰةًۭ وَكَانَ تَقِيًّۭا١٣
[19:13] We granted him kindness and purity from Our special place and he was god-fearing.
2262 1243 1281 488 - - - - -
وَبَرًّۢا بِوَٰلِدَيْهِ وَلَمْ يَكُن جَبَّارًا عَصِيًّۭا١٤
[19:14] And he was kind to his parents and he was never a rebellious tyrant.
2263 1244 1282 489 - - - - -
وَسَلَٰمٌ عَلَيْهِ يَوْمَ وُلِدَ وَيَوْمَ يَمُوتُ وَيَوْمَ يُبْعَثُ حَيًّۭا١٥
[19:15] And peace upon him the day he was born, the day he dies and the day he will be resurrected alive.
2264 1245 1283 490 - - - - -
وَٱذْكُرْ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ مَرْيَمَ إِذِ ٱنتَبَذَتْ مِنْ أَهْلِهَا مَكَانًۭا شَرْقِيًّۭا١٦
[19:16] And mention in the scripture Mary, when she isolated herself from her family to an eastern location.
2265 1246 1284 491 555 - - 408 -
فَٱتَّخَذَتْ مِن دُونِهِمْ حِجَابًۭا فَأَرْسَلْنَآ إِلَيْهَا رُوحَنَا فَتَمَثَّلَ لَهَا بَشَرًۭا سَوِيًّۭا١٧
[19:17] She then separated herself from them behind a barrier and We sent to her Our Spirit and he appeared to her as a perfect human.
2266 1247 1285 492 - - - - -
قَالَتْ إِنِّىٓ أَعُوذُ بِٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ مِنكَ إِن كُنتَ تَقِيًّۭا١٨
[19:18] She said, I indeed seek refuge in The All Gracious from you and hope that you are god-fearing.
2267 1248 1286 493 556 - - 409 -
قَالَ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ رَسُولُ رَبِّكِ لِأَهَبَ لَكِ غُلَٰمًۭا زَكِيًّۭا١٩
[19:19] He said; I am indeed only a messenger of your Lord to grant you a pure son.
2268 1249 1287 494 - - - - -
قَالَتْ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِى غُلَٰمٌۭ وَلَمْ يَمْسَسْنِى بَشَرٌۭ وَلَمْ أَكُ بَغِيًّۭا٢٠
[19:20] She said; how can I indeed have a son when no human has ever touched me nor have I ever been unchaste.

قَالَ كَذَٰلِكِ قَالَ رَبُّكِ هُوَ عَلَىَّ هَيِّنٌۭ وَلِنَجْعَلَهُۥٓ ءَايَةًۭ لِّلنَّاسِ وَرَحْمَةًۭ مِّنَّا وَكَانَ أَمْرًۭا مَّقْضِيًّۭا٢١
[19:21] He said; thus says your Lord, it is easy for Me and We will make him a sign for the people and a mercy from Us. And this matter is preordained.
2270 1251 1289 496 - - - - -
فَحَمَلَتْهُ فَٱنتَبَذَتْ بِهِۦ مَكَانًۭا قَصِيًّۭا٢٢
[19:22] She thus carried him and isolated herself to a faraway place.
2271 1252 1290 497 557 - - 410 -
فَأَجَآءَهَا ٱلْمَخَاضُ إِلَىٰ جِذْعِ ٱلنَّخْلَةِ قَالَتْ يَٰلَيْتَنِى مِتُّ قَبْلَ هَٰذَا وَكُنتُ نَسْيًۭا مَّنسِيًّۭا٢٣
[19:23] Then when the pain of childbirth struck her by the palm tree, she said, O I wish I was dead before this and completely forgotten.
2272 1253 1291 498 - - - - -
فَنَادَىٰهَا مِن تَحْتِهَآ أَلَّا تَحْزَنِى قَدْ جَعَلَ رَبُّكِ تَحْتَكِ سَرِيًّۭا٢٤
[19:24] He then called on her from beneath her; do not be sad for your Lord has created a stream beneath you.
2273 1254 1292 499 - - - - -
وَهُزِّىٓ إِلَيْكِ بِجِذْعِ ٱلنَّخْلَةِ تُسَٰقِطْ عَلَيْكِ رُطَبًۭا جَنِيًّۭا٢٥
[19:25] And pull the trunk of the palm tree towards you; fresh ripe dates will fall for you.
2274 1255 1293 500 - - - - -
فَكُلِى وَٱشْرَبِى وَقَرِّى عَيْنًۭا فَإِمَّا تَرَيِنَّ مِنَ ٱلْبَشَرِ أَحَدًۭا فَقُولِىٓ إِنِّى نَذَرْتُ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ صَوْمًۭا فَلَنْ أُكَلِّمَ ٱلْيَوْمَ إِنسِيًّۭا٢٦
[19:26] Then eat and drink and brighten your eyes, afterwards when you see any person, say, I have indeed promised the All Gracious a vow of silence, therefore, I will not speak to any one today.

فَأَتَتْ بِهِۦ قَوْمَهَا تَحْمِلُهُۥ قَالُوا۟ يَٰمَرْيَمُ لَقَدْ جِئْتِ شَيْـًۭٔا فَرِيًّۭا٢٧
[19:27] Later on she came to her people carrying him. They said, O Mary you have indeed brought a strange thing!
2276 1257 1295 502 - - - - -
يَٰٓأُخْتَ هَٰرُونَ مَا كَانَ أَبُوكِ ٱمْرَأَ سَوْءٍۢ وَمَا كَانَتْ أُمُّكِ بَغِيًّۭا٢٨
[19:28] O sister of Aaron, your father was not a bad man, nor was your mother ever unchaste.
2277 1258 1296 503 558 - - 411 -
فَأَشَارَتْ إِلَيْهِ قَالُوا۟ كَيْفَ نُكَلِّمُ مَن كَانَ فِى ٱلْمَهْدِ صَبِيًّۭا٢٩
[19:29] She then pointed to him. They said; how could a baby in the crib speak?
2278 1259 1297 504 - 1048 1600 - 153
قَالَ إِنِّى عَبْدُ ٱللَّهِ ءَاتَىٰنِىَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَجَعَلَنِى نَبِيًّۭا٣٠
[19:30] He said; indeed I am a servant of God , He has given me the scripture and has appointed me a prophet.
2279 1260 1298 505 559 - - 412 -
وَجَعَلَنِى مُبَارَكًا أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُ وَأَوْصَٰنِى بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَٱلزَّكَوٰةِ مَا دُمْتُ حَيًّۭا٣١
[19:31] And He has blessed me wherever I may be and has enjoined me regarding the contact prayer and the cleansing charity as long as I live.
2280 1261 1299 506 - - - - -
وَبَرًّۢا بِوَٰلِدَتِى وَلَمْ يَجْعَلْنِى جَبَّارًۭا شَقِيًّۭا٣٢
[19:32] And to be kind to my mother and He has not made me a rebellious tyrant.
2281 1262 1300 507 - - - - -
وَٱلسَّلَٰمُ عَلَىَّ يَوْمَ وُلِدتُّ وَيَوْمَ أَمُوتُ وَيَوْمَ أُبْعَثُ حَيًّۭا٣٣
[19:33] And peace upon me the day I was born, the day I die and the day I will be resurrected alive.
2282 1263 1301 508 - - - - -
ذَٰلِكَ عِيسَى ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ قَوْلَ ٱلْحَقِّ ٱلَّذِى فِيهِ يَمْتَرُونَ٣٤
[19:34] Thus was Jesus, son of Mary, a truthful narration about which they are doubtful.
2283 1264 1302 509 - 1049 1601 - 154
مَا كَانَ لِلَّهِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ مِن وَلَدٍۢ سُبْحَٰنَهُۥٓ إِذَا قَضَىٰٓ أَمْرًۭا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ٣٥
[19:35] It is not befitting for God to beget a son, be He glorified. Once He decrees a matter, He says to it: “Be" and it then becomes.
2284 1265 1303 510 - 1050 1602 - 155
وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ رَبِّى وَرَبُّكُمْ فَٱعْبُدُوهُ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٌۭ مُّسْتَقِيمٌۭ٣٦
[19:36] And God is my Lord and your Lord; therefore, you shall worship Him. This is the right path.
2285 1266 1304 511 560 - - 413 -
فَٱخْتَلَفَ ٱلْأَحْزَابُ مِنۢ بَيْنِهِمْ فَوَيْلٌۭ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن مَّشْهَدِ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ٣٧
[19:37] Afterwards, various groups disputed amongst themselves, then woe to the unfaithful when they witness the Great Day.
2286 1267 1305 512 - - - - -
أَسْمِعْ بِهِمْ وَأَبْصِرْ يَوْمَ يَأْتُونَنَا لَٰكِنِ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ ٱلْيَوْمَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ٣٨
[19:38] Let them hear and let them look as they come to face Us, however, those who committed injustice will be totally lost on that day.
2287 1268 1306 513 - - - - -
وَأَنذِرْهُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْحَسْرَةِ إِذْ قُضِىَ ٱلْأَمْرُ وَهُمْ فِى غَفْلَةٍۢ وَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ٣٩
[19:39] And warn them of the day of remorse when the matter is over and they still remain unaware and they still have no faith.
2288 1269 1307 514 - - - - -
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَرِثُ ٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَنْ عَلَيْهَا وَإِلَيْنَا يُرْجَعُونَ٤٠
[19:40] Indeed We inherit the land and everyone on it and to Us is their final destiny.
2289 1270 1308 515 561 - - 414 -
وَٱذْكُرْ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صِدِّيقًۭا نَّبِيًّا٤١
[19:41] And mention in the scripture Abraham. He was indeed a truthful prophet.
2290 1271 1309 516 - - - - -
إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ يَٰٓأَبَتِ لِمَ تَعْبُدُ مَا لَا يَسْمَعُ وَلَا يُبْصِرُ وَلَا يُغْنِى عَنكَ شَيْـًۭٔا٤٢
[19:42] When he told his father, O my father why do you worship something that neither can hear nor can see and does not benefit you in the least?
2291 1272 1310 517 562 - - 415 -
يَٰٓأَبَتِ إِنِّى قَدْ جَآءَنِى مِنَ ٱلْعِلْمِ مَا لَمْ يَأْتِكَ فَٱتَّبِعْنِىٓ أَهْدِكَ صِرَٰطًۭا سَوِيًّۭا٤٣
[19:43] O my father, indeed I have received knowledge which you do not have, therefore, you should follow me and I will guide you to the even path.
2292 1273 1311 518 - - - - -
يَٰٓأَبَتِ لَا تَعْبُدِ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنَ إِنَّ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنَ كَانَ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ عَصِيًّۭا٤٤
[19:44] O my father, do not worship Satan, indeed Satan has rebelled against The All Gracious.
2293 1274 1312 519 - - - - -
يَٰٓأَبَتِ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ أَن يَمَسَّكَ عَذَابٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ فَتَكُونَ لِلشَّيْطَٰنِ وَلِيًّۭا٤٥
[19:45] O my father, indeed I fear that a punishment from The All Gracious may afflict you if you continue to take Satan as your ally.
2294 1275 1313 520 - - - - -
قَالَ أَرَاغِبٌ أَنتَ عَنْ ءَالِهَتِى يَٰٓإِبْرَٰهِيمُ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهِ لَأَرْجُمَنَّكَ وَٱهْجُرْنِى مَلِيًّۭا٤٦
[19:46] He said, why do you hate my gods O Abraham? If you do not refrain, I will stone you so leave me alone.
2295 1276 1314 521 563 - - 416 -
قَالَ سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيْكَ سَأَسْتَغْفِرُ لَكَ رَبِّىٓ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ بِى حَفِيًّۭا٤٧
[19:47] He said; peace be upon you. I will ask forgiveness from my Lord on your behalf. Indeed He is most kind towards me.
2296 1277 1315 522 - 1051 1603 - 156
وَأَعْتَزِلُكُمْ وَمَا تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَأَدْعُوا۟ رَبِّى عَسَىٰٓ أَلَّآ أَكُونَ بِدُعَآءِ رَبِّى شَقِيًّۭا٤٨
[19:48] I will abandon all of you and what you call upon besides God , and I call upon my Lord, and I never despair from calling upon my Lord.
2297 1278 1316 523 - 1052 1604 - 157
فَلَمَّا ٱعْتَزَلَهُمْ وَمَا يَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَهَبْنَا لَهُۥٓ إِسْحَٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَكُلًّۭا جَعَلْنَا نَبِيًّۭا٤٩
[19:49] Then once he abandoned them and what they worshiped besides God , We granted him Isaac and Jacob, and We appointed both prophets.
2298 1279 1317 524 - - - - -
وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُم مِّن رَّحْمَتِنَا وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ عَلِيًّۭا٥٠
[19:50] And We granted them from Our mercy and made their words truthful and exalted.
2299 1280 1318 525 - - - - -
وَٱذْكُرْ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ مُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مُخْلَصًۭا وَكَانَ رَسُولًۭا نَّبِيًّۭا٥١
[19:51] And mention in the scripture Moses, he was indeed devoted and a messenger, a prophet.
2300 1281 1319 526 - - - - -
وَنَٰدَيْنَٰهُ مِن جَانِبِ ٱلطُّورِ ٱلْأَيْمَنِ وَقَرَّبْنَٰهُ نَجِيًّۭا٥٢
[19:52] And We called him by the blessed mountain and brought him close in order to converse with him.
2301 1282 1320 527 564 - - 417 -
وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُۥ مِن رَّحْمَتِنَآ أَخَاهُ هَٰرُونَ نَبِيًّۭا٥٣
[19:53] And We granted him from Our mercy his brother Aaron as a prophet.
2302 1283 1321 528 - - - - -
وَٱذْكُرْ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ إِسْمَٰعِيلَ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صَادِقَ ٱلْوَعْدِ وَكَانَ رَسُولًۭا نَّبِيًّۭا٥٤
[19:54] And mention in the scripture Ishmael. He was indeed truthful to his promise and he was a messenger, a prophet.
2303 1284 1322 529 - - - - -
وَكَانَ يَأْمُرُ أَهْلَهُۥ بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَٱلزَّكَوٰةِ وَكَانَ عِندَ رَبِّهِۦ مَرْضِيًّۭا٥٥
[19:55] And he enjoined his family to uphold the contact prayer and give the cleansing charity and he was pleasing to his Lord.
2304 1285 1323 530 - - - - -
وَٱذْكُرْ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ إِدْرِيسَ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صِدِّيقًۭا نَّبِيًّۭا٥٦
[19:56] And mention in the scripture Enoch. He was indeed truthful, a prophet.
2305 1286 1324 531 - - - - -
وَرَفَعْنَٰهُ مَكَانًا عَلِيًّا٥٧
[19:57] And We raised him to an exalted position.
2306 1287 1325 532 - 1053 1605 - 158
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِم مِّنَ ٱلنَّبِيِّۦنَ مِن ذُرِّيَّةِ ءَادَمَ وَمِمَّنْ حَمَلْنَا مَعَ نُوحٍۢ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّةِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ وَمِمَّنْ هَدَيْنَا وَٱجْتَبَيْنَآ إِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ خَرُّوا۟ سُجَّدًۭا وَبُكِيًّۭا٥٨
[19:58] These are the ones whom God has blessed from amongst the prophets, from the descendents of Adam, and from those whom We carried with Noah and from the descendents of Abraham and Israel, and from those whom We guided and chose. When the proofs of The All Gracious are recited to them they fall prostrate, weeping.
2307 1288 1326 533 565 - - 418 -
فَخَلَفَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ خَلْفٌ أَضَاعُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَٱتَّبَعُوا۟ ٱلشَّهَوَٰتِ فَسَوْفَ يَلْقَوْنَ غَيًّا٥٩
[19:59] Afterwards, another generation replaced them who then wasted the contact prayer and followed their lust. They will therefore soon find out the evils of this.
2308 1289 1327 534 - - - - -
إِلَّا مَن تَابَ وَءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَٰلِحًۭا فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ يَدْخُلُونَ ٱلْجَنَّةَ وَلَا يُظْلَمُونَ شَيْـًۭٔا٦٠
[19:60] Exempted are those who repent, attain faith and lead a righteous life, then they will enter paradise without the least injustice.
2309 1290 1328 535 566 - - 419 -
جَنَّٰتِ عَدْنٍ ٱلَّتِى وَعَدَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ عِبَادَهُۥ بِٱلْغَيْبِ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ وَعْدُهُۥ مَأْتِيًّۭا٦١
[19:61] Gardens of Eden that The All Gracious has promised to His servants privately. His promise is surely to be fulfilled.
2310 1291 1329 536 - - - - -
لَّا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْوًا إِلَّا سَلَٰمًۭا وَلَهُمْ رِزْقُهُمْ فِيهَا بُكْرَةًۭ وَعَشِيًّۭا٦٢
[19:62] They will hear no nonsense therein, only utterance of peace and the provision therein is available day and night.
2311 1292 1330 537 - - - - -
تِلْكَ ٱلْجَنَّةُ ٱلَّتِى نُورِثُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا مَن كَانَ تَقِيًّۭا٦٣
[19:63] This is paradise that We let Our god-fearing servants inherit.
2312 1293 1331 538 - - - - -
وَمَا نَتَنَزَّلُ إِلَّا بِأَمْرِ رَبِّكَ لَهُۥ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِينَا وَمَا خَلْفَنَا وَمَا بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ نَسِيًّۭا٦٤
[19:64] We do not come down except by the command of your Lord. To Him belong our past, our future and the present. And your Lord never forgets.
2313 1294 1332 539 - - - - -
رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فَٱعْبُدْهُ وَٱصْطَبِرْ لِعِبَٰدَتِهِۦ هَلْ تَعْلَمُ لَهُۥ سَمِيًّۭا٦٥
[19:65] Lord of the skies and the land and what is between them, therefore you shall worship Him and be steadfast in serving Him. Do you know any one like Him?
2314 1295 1333 540 - - - - -
وَيَقُولُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ أَءِذَا مَا مِتُّ لَسَوْفَ أُخْرَجُ حَيًّا٦٦
[19:66] And the human being says; after I die, do I indeed come back alive?
2315 1296 1334 541 567 - - 420 -
أَوَلَا يَذْكُرُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَٰهُ مِن قَبْلُ وَلَمْ يَكُ شَيْـًۭٔا٦٧
[19:67] Does the human being not realize that We indeed created him and he was nothing?
2316 1297 1335 542 - - - - -
فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَحْشُرَنَّهُمْ وَٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ ثُمَّ لَنُحْضِرَنَّهُمْ حَوْلَ جَهَنَّمَ جِثِيًّۭا٦٨
[19:68] Then by your Lord, We will indeed gather them all together with the demons, We then indeed present Gehenna to them as a humiliating abode.
2317 1298 1336 543 - - - - -
ثُمَّ لَنَنزِعَنَّ مِن كُلِّ شِيعَةٍ أَيُّهُمْ أَشَدُّ عَلَى ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ عِتِيًّۭا٦٩
[19:69] We then sift out from every group those who are stern in opposition to The All Gracious.
2318 1299 1337 544 - - - - -
ثُمَّ لَنَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ أَوْلَىٰ بِهَا صِلِيًّۭا٧٠
[19:70] We know full well who deserves to burn therein.
2319 1300 1338 545 568 - - 421 -
وَإِن مِّنكُمْ إِلَّا وَارِدُهَا كَانَ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ حَتْمًۭا مَّقْضِيًّۭا٧١
[19:71] And all of you are to enter therein. This is a preordained matter by your Lord.
2320 1301 1339 546 - - - - -
ثُمَّ نُنَجِّى ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوا۟ وَّنَذَرُ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ فِيهَا جِثِيًّۭا٧٢
[19:72] We then save those who are god-fearing and leave therein the transgressors, humiliated.
2321 1302 1340 547 569 - - 422 -
وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَايَٰتُنَا بَيِّنَٰتٍۢ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَىُّ ٱلْفَرِيقَيْنِ خَيْرٌۭ مَّقَامًۭا وَأَحْسَنُ نَدِيًّۭا٧٣
[19:73] And when Our clear proofs are recited to them, those who have no faith say to those who have faith; which of the two groups has attained better position and is larger in numbers?
2322 1303 1341 548 - - - - -
وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ هُمْ أَحْسَنُ أَثَٰثًۭا وَرِءْيًۭا٧٤
[19:74] And We annihilated many a generation before them, they even possessed more wealth and were better looking.
2323 1304 1342 549 - - - - -
قُلْ مَن كَانَ فِى ٱلضَّلَٰلَةِ فَلْيَمْدُدْ لَهُ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ مَدًّا حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا رَأَوْا۟ مَا يُوعَدُونَ إِمَّا ٱلْعَذَابَ وَإِمَّا ٱلسَّاعَةَ فَسَيَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ هُوَ شَرٌّۭ مَّكَانًۭا وَأَضْعَفُ جُندًۭا٧٥
[19:75] Say; whoever is stuck in being astray, then The All Gracious extends it for him. Until they see what is promised of the suffering and the Hour, then they will soon find out who has the worse position and the weaker army.
2324 1305 1343 550 - 1054 1606 - 159
وَيَزِيدُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱهْتَدَوْا۟ هُدًۭى وَٱلْبَٰقِيَٰتُ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتُ خَيْرٌ عِندَ رَبِّكَ ثَوَابًۭا وَخَيْرٌۭ مَّرَدًّا٧٦
[19:76] And God increases guidance for those who are guided and the everlasting righteousness at your Lord is the best reward and the best return.
2325 1306 1344 551 - - - - -
أَفَرَءَيْتَ ٱلَّذِى كَفَرَ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَقَالَ لَأُوتَيَنَّ مَالًۭا وَوَلَدًا٧٧
[19:77] Do you see those who have disbelieved in Our signs? They go on to say; I will be surely given money and children.
2326 1307 1345 552 - - - - -
أَطَّلَعَ ٱلْغَيْبَ أَمِ ٱتَّخَذَ عِندَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ عَهْدًۭا٧٨
[19:78] Is he reporting the future or has he received a promise from The All Gracious?
2327 1308 1346 553 570 - - 423 -
كَلَّا سَنَكْتُبُ مَا يَقُولُ وَنَمُدُّ لَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلْعَذَابِ مَدًّۭا٧٩
[19:79] We will indeed record his utterance and we prolong his suffering greatly.
2328 1309 1347 554 - - - - -
وَنَرِثُهُۥ مَا يَقُولُ وَيَأْتِينَا فَرْدًۭا٨٠
[19:80] We will keep what he says and he will come back to Us as an individual.
2329 1310 1348 555 - 1055 1607 - 160
وَٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةًۭ لِّيَكُونُوا۟ لَهُمْ عِزًّۭا٨١
[19:81] And they take other gods besides God in order to bring them dignity.
2330 1311 1349 556 - - - - -
كَلَّا سَيَكْفُرُونَ بِعِبَادَتِهِمْ وَيَكُونُونَ عَلَيْهِمْ ضِدًّا٨٢
[19:82] Absolutely, they will reject their worship and they will turn into their enemies.
2331 1312 1350 557 571 - - 424 -
أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَا ٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ عَلَى ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ تَؤُزُّهُمْ أَزًّۭا٨٣
[19:83] Do you not realize that We indeed send demons upon the unfaithful in order to agitate them?
2332 1313 1351 558 - - - - -
فَلَا تَعْجَلْ عَلَيْهِمْ إِنَّمَا نَعُدُّ لَهُمْ عَدًّۭا٨٤
[19:84] Therefore, do not resort to haste opposing them, We have promised them a promise!
2333 1314 1352 559 - - - - -
يَوْمَ نَحْشُرُ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ إِلَى ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ وَفْدًۭا٨٥
[19:85] The day will come when We gather the god-fearing ones before the All Gracious in a group.
2334 1315 1353 560 - - - - -
وَنَسُوقُ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ وِرْدًۭا٨٦
[19:86] And We will drive the guilty to Gehenna to be their abode.
2335 1316 1354 561 - - - - -
لَّا يَمْلِكُونَ ٱلشَّفَٰعَةَ إِلَّا مَنِ ٱتَّخَذَ عِندَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ عَهْدًۭا٨٧
[19:87] No one can possess any intercessions except those who have received a promise from The All Gracious.
2336 1317 1355 562 - - - - -
وَقَالُوا۟ ٱتَّخَذَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ وَلَدًۭا٨٨
[19:88] And they said; The All Gracious has begotten a son.
2337 1318 1356 563 572 - - 425 -
لَّقَدْ جِئْتُمْ شَيْـًٔا إِدًّۭا٨٩
[19:89] Indeed they have produced an atrocious characterization.
2338 1319 1357 564 - - - - -
تَكَادُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ يَتَفَطَّرْنَ مِنْهُ وَتَنشَقُّ ٱلْأَرْضُ وَتَخِرُّ ٱلْجِبَالُ هَدًّا٩٠
[19:90] The skies almost shatter and the land is about to tear asunder and the mountains are about to crumble -
2339 1320 1358 565 - - - - -
أَن دَعَوْا۟ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ وَلَدًۭا٩١
[19:91] -when they claim for The All Gracious a son.
2340 1321 1359 566 - - - - -
وَمَا يَنۢبَغِى لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا٩٢
[19:92] It is not befitting for The All Gracious to beget a son!
2341 1322 1360 567 - - - - -
إِن كُلُّ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ إِلَّآ ءَاتِى ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ عَبْدًۭا٩٣
[19:93] Everyone in the skies and the land is no more than a servant of The All Gracious.
2342 1323 1361 568 - - - - -
لَّقَدْ أَحْصَىٰهُمْ وَعَدَّهُمْ عَدًّۭا٩٤
[19:94] We have indeed numbered them and have counted them exactly.
2343 1324 1362 569 - - - - -
وَكُلُّهُمْ ءَاتِيهِ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ فَرْدًا٩٥
[19:95] Everyone on the Day of Resurrection will come to Him as an individual.
2344 1325 1363 570 - - - - -
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ سَيَجْعَلُ لَهُمُ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ وُدًّۭا٩٦
[19:96] Indeed those who have attained faith and lead a righteous life, The All Gracious will create love for them.
2345 1326 1364 571 573 - - 426 -
فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَٰهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لِتُبَشِّرَ بِهِ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ وَتُنذِرَ بِهِۦ قَوْمًۭا لُّدًّۭا٩٧
[19:97] Therefore, We have surely made it easy in your tongue in order to give good news with it to the god-fearing ones and to warn with it the people who offer hostility.
2346 1327 1365 572 - - - - -
وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ هَلْ تُحِسُّ مِنْهُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ أَوْ تَسْمَعُ لَهُمْ رِكْزًۢا٩٨
[19:98] We have annihilated many a generation before them; do you have any feelings for any one of them? Do you hear from them any sound?
