بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
In the name of God, The All Gracious, The All Merciful
3787 1641 2723 1166 - - - - -
وَٱلصَّٰٓفَّٰتِ صَفًّۭا١
[37:1] By the arrangers in rows.
3788 1642 2724 1167 952 - - 759 -
فَٱلزَّٰجِرَٰتِ زَجْرًۭا٢
[37:2] And those who stratify down to oblivion.
3789 1643 2725 1168 953 - - 760 -
فَٱلتَّٰلِيَٰتِ ذِكْرًا٣
[37:3] And those who recite the reminder-
3790 1644 2726 1169 - - - - 476
إِنَّ إِلَٰهَكُمْ لَوَٰحِدٌۭ٤
[37:4] -proclaiming that surely your god is one.
3791 1645 2727 1170 954 - - 761 -
رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَرَبُّ ٱلْمَشَٰرِقِ٥
[37:5] Lord of the skies and the land and everything between them and Lord of all locations of sunrise.
3792 1646 2728 1171 - - - - -
إِنَّا زَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنْيَا بِزِينَةٍ ٱلْكَوَاكِبِ٦
[37:6] We have indeed adorned the lowest sky with splendid planets.
3793 1647 2729 1172 955 - - 762 -
وَحِفْظًۭا مِّن كُلِّ شَيْطَٰنٍۢ مَّارِدٍۢ٧
[37:7] And there is a guard against every rebellious devil.
3794 1648 2730 1173 - - - - -
لَّا يَسَّمَّعُونَ إِلَى ٱلْمَلَإِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ وَيُقْذَفُونَ مِن كُلِّ جَانِبٍۢ٨
[37:8] They cannot eavesdrop on the high society and they will be bombarded from every direction.
3795 1649 2731 1174 - - - - -
دُحُورًۭا وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌۭ وَاصِبٌ٩
[37:9] Rejected, and for them there is a continuous suffering.
3796 1650 2732 1175 - - - - -
إِلَّا مَنْ خَطِفَ ٱلْخَطْفَةَ فَأَتْبَعَهُۥ شِهَابٌۭ ثَاقِبٌۭ١٠
[37:10] As for the one who snatches away something secretly, he will be pursued by a powerful projectile.

فَٱسْتَفْتِهِمْ أَهُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَم مَّنْ خَلَقْنَآ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَٰهُم مِّن طِينٍۢ لَّازِبٍۭ١١
[37:11] Therefore, ask them, are they more difficult to create than all We have created? Indeed We created them from sticky mud.

بَلْ عَجِبْتَ وَيَسْخَرُونَ١٢
[37:12] While you are in awe, they are mocking.
3799 1653 2735 1178 957 - - 764 -
وَإِذَا ذُكِّرُوا۟ لَا يَذْكُرُونَ١٣
[37:13] And, when they are reminded they do not take heed.
3800 1654 2736 1179 - - - - -
وَإِذَا رَأَوْا۟ ءَايَةًۭ يَسْتَسْخِرُونَ١٤
[37:14] And, when they see a sign, they mock.
3801 1655 2737 1180 - - - - -
وَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحْرٌۭ مُّبِينٌ١٥
[37:15] And they say; this is nothing but clear magic.
3802 1656 2738 1181 - - - - -
أَءِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًۭا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ١٦
[37:16] When we die, and become dust and bones, will we be resurrected-
3803 1657 2739 1182 958 - - 765 -
أَوَءَابَآؤُنَا ٱلْأَوَّلُونَ١٧
[37:17] -also our forefathers?
3804 1658 2740 1183 - - - - -
قُلْ نَعَمْ وَأَنتُمْ دَٰخِرُونَ١٨
[37:18] Say, definitely, and you will be forced.
3805 1659 2741 1184 959 - - 766 -
فَإِنَّمَا هِىَ زَجْرَةٌۭ وَٰحِدَةٌۭ فَإِذَا هُمْ يَنظُرُونَ١٩
[37:19] Then it will be a single blow while they are waiting.
3806 1660 2742 1185 - - - - -
وَقَالُوا۟ يَٰوَيْلَنَا هَٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ٢٠
[37:20] They will say, woe to us, this is the Day of Faith.
3807 1661 2743 1186 - - - - -
هَٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ٢١
[37:21] This is the day of reckoning that you used to deny.
3808 1662 2744 1187 - - - - -
ٱحْشُرُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ وَأَزْوَٰجَهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْبُدُونَ٢٢
[37:22] Summon unjust together with their spouses and what they used to worship -

مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَٱهْدُوهُمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ٢٣
[37:23] -besides God , then lead them to the path of the Inferno.
3810 1664 2746 1189 - - - - -
وَقِفُوهُمْ إِنَّهُم مَّسْـُٔولُونَ٢٤
[37:24] Stop them, indeed they will be asked,-
3811 1665 2747 1190 - - - - -
مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَنَاصَرُونَ٢٥
[37:25] -why do you not help each other?
3812 1666 2748 1191 - - - - -
بَلْ هُمُ ٱلْيَوْمَ مُسْتَسْلِمُونَ٢٦
[37:26] No way, on that day they will strive for submission.
3813 1667 2749 1192 - - - - -
وَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍۢ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ٢٧
[37:27] And they turn to one another wondering-
3814 1668 2750 1193 - - - - -
قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ تَأْتُونَنَا عَنِ ٱلْيَمِينِ٢٨
[37:28] -they say; indeed you were the ones who came to us acting so holy.
3815 1669 2751 1194 961 - - 768 -
قَالُوا۟ بَل لَّمْ تَكُونُوا۟ مُؤْمِنِينَ٢٩
[37:29] They say; no you, yourselves were not faithful.
3816 1670 2752 1195 - - - - -
وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا عَلَيْكُم مِّن سُلْطَٰنٍۭ بَلْ كُنتُمْ قَوْمًۭا طَٰغِينَ٣٠
[37:30] And we had no power over you. No, it was you who were transgressing people.
3817 1671 2753 1196 962 - - 769 -
فَحَقَّ عَلَيْنَا قَوْلُ رَبِّنَآ إِنَّا لَذَآئِقُونَ٣١
[37:31] Now, our Lord’s promise has been fulfilled for us, we indeed have to taste it.
3818 1672 2754 1197 - - - - -
فَأَغْوَيْنَٰكُمْ إِنَّا كُنَّا غَٰوِينَ٣٢
[37:32] We misled you, because we were indeed misled ourselves.
3819 1673 2755 1198 - - - - -
فَإِنَّهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ فِى ٱلْعَذَابِ مُشْتَرِكُونَ٣٣
[37:33] Therefore, surely on that day they all share in the suffering.
3820 1674 2756 1199 - - - - -
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ٣٤
[37:34] We thus deal with the guilty.
3821 1675 2757 1200 - 1406 2100 - 478
إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوٓا۟ إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ٣٥
[37:35] This is indeed because when they were told; “There is no god except God ”, they turned arrogant.
3822 1676 2758 1201 - - - - -
وَيَقُولُونَ أَئِنَّا لَتَارِكُوٓا۟ ءَالِهَتِنَا لِشَاعِرٍۢ مَّجْنُونٍۭ٣٦
[37:36] And they say; should we abandon our gods for the sake of a crazy poet?
3823 1677 2759 1202 963 - - 770 -
بَلْ جَآءَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَصَدَّقَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ٣٧
[37:37] On the contrary, he has brought the truth and he has confirmed the messengers.
3824 1678 2760 1203 - - - - -
إِنَّكُمْ لَذَآئِقُوا۟ ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلْأَلِيمِ٣٨
[37:38] You will surely endure the painful suffering.
3825 1679 2761 1204 - - - - -
وَمَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ٣٩
[37:39] And you will be repaid exactly for what you did.
3826 1680 2762 1205 - 1407 2101 - 479
إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ٤٠
[37:40] Exempted are God ’s servants who are devoted purely to Him.
3827 1681 2763 1206 964 - - 771 -
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ رِزْقٌۭ مَّعْلُومٌۭ٤١
[37:41] For them, there is a specific provision.
3828 1682 2764 1207 - - - - -
فَوَٰكِهُ وَهُم مُّكْرَمُونَ٤٢
[37:42] There will be fruits and they will be honored-
3829 1683 2765 1208 965 - - 772 -
فِى جَنَّٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ٤٣
[37:43] -in blissful Gardens.
3830 1684 2766 1209 - - - - -
عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍۢ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ٤٤
[37:44] On luxurious furnishings, they will be neighbors.
3831 1685 2767 1210 - - - - -
يُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِكَأْسٍۢ مِّن مَّعِينٍۭ٤٥
[37:45] They will be readily served with a cup filled from a pure spring.
3832 1686 2768 1211 - - - - -
بَيْضَآءَ لَذَّةٍۢ لِّلشَّٰرِبِينَ٤٦
[37:46] Clear drinks with delicious taste for the drinkers.
3833 1687 2769 1212 966 - - 773 -
لَا فِيهَا غَوْلٌۭ وَلَا هُمْ عَنْهَا يُنزَفُونَ٤٧
[37:47] Never polluted, and never runs out.
3834 1688 2770 1213 - - - - -
وَعِندَهُمْ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرْفِ عِينٌۭ٤٨
[37:48] And beside them will be beautiful companions.
3835 1689 2771 1214 - - - - -
كَأَنَّهُنَّ بَيْضٌۭ مَّكْنُونٌۭ٤٩
[37:49] They are like a protected egg.
3836 1690 2772 1215 - - - - -
فَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍۢ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ٥٠
[37:50] As they turn to one another wondering, -
3837 1691 2773 1216 - - - - -
قَالَ قَآئِلٌۭ مِّنْهُمْ إِنِّى كَانَ لِى قَرِينٌۭ٥١
[37:51] -one of them says, indeed I used to have a friend.
3838 1692 2774 1217 - - - - -
يَقُولُ أَءِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُصَدِّقِينَ٥٢
[37:52] He used to say; are you really telling the truth-
3839 1693 2775 1218 967 - - 774 -
أَءِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًۭا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَدِينُونَ٥٣
[37:53] -that when we die and become dust and bones, we will be held accountable?
3840 1694 2776 1219 - - - - -
قَالَ هَلْ أَنتُم مُّطَّلِعُونَ٥٤
[37:54] He said; do you wish to take a look?
3841 1695 2777 1220 - - - - -
فَٱطَّلَعَ فَرَءَاهُ فِى سَوَآءِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ٥٥
[37:55] Once he looks, he sees him in the midst of the Inferno.
3842 1696 2778 1221 - 1408 2102 - 480
قَالَ تَٱللَّهِ إِن كِدتَّ لَتُرْدِينِ٥٦
[37:56] He said; by God , you almost diverted me.
3843 1697 2779 1222 - - - - -
وَلَوْلَا نِعْمَةُ رَبِّى لَكُنتُ مِنَ ٱلْمُحْضَرِينَ٥٧
[37:57] If it were not for the blessing of my Lord, I would have been definitely there.
3844 1698 2780 1223 - - - - -
أَفَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَيِّتِينَ٥٨
[37:58] Do you still maintain that we never die,-
3845 1699 2781 1224 968 - - 775 -
إِلَّا مَوْتَتَنَا ٱلْأُولَىٰ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ٥٩
[37:59] -that we only die once, and we will never suffer?
3846 1700 2782 1225 - - - - -
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ٦٠
[37:60] This is truly the greatest triumph.
3847 1701 2783 1226 969 - - 776 -
لِمِثْلِ هَٰذَا فَلْيَعْمَلِ ٱلْعَٰمِلُونَ٦١
[37:61] For the likes of this, every worker shall work.
3848 1702 2784 1227 - - - - -
أَذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌۭ نُّزُلًا أَمْ شَجَرَةُ ٱلزَّقُّومِ٦٢
[37:62] Is this better or the tree of bitterness?
3849 1703 2785 1228 - - - - -
إِنَّا جَعَلْنَٰهَا فِتْنَةًۭ لِّلظَّٰلِمِينَ٦٣
[37:63] We indeed created it as a torment for the unjust.
3850 1704 2786 1229 - - - - -
إِنَّهَا شَجَرَةٌۭ تَخْرُجُ فِىٓ أَصْلِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ٦٤
[37:64] Indeed it is a tree that grows in the midst of the Inferno.
3851 1705 2787 1230 - - - - -
طَلْعُهَا كَأَنَّهُۥ رُءُوسُ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِ٦٥
[37:65] Its blossoms are like heads of demons.
3852 1706 2788 1231 - - - - -
فَإِنَّهُمْ لَءَاكِلُونَ مِنْهَا فَمَالِـُٔونَ مِنْهَا ٱلْبُطُونَ٦٦
[37:66] Then they will eat from it and they fill their bellies.
3853 1707 2789 1232 970 - - 777 -
ثُمَّ إِنَّ لَهُمْ عَلَيْهَا لَشَوْبًۭا مِّنْ حَمِيمٍۢ٦٧
[37:67] Then they top it off with a hellish drink.
3854 1708 2790 1233 - - - - -
ثُمَّ إِنَّ مَرْجِعَهُمْ لَإِلَى ٱلْجَحِيمِ٦٨
[37:68] Afterwards, they continue to suffer the Inferno.
3855 1709 2791 1234 - - - - -
إِنَّهُمْ أَلْفَوْا۟ ءَابَآءَهُمْ ضَآلِّينَ٦٩
[37:69] They indeed found their fathers astray.
3856 1710 2792 1235 - - - - -
فَهُمْ عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِمْ يُهْرَعُونَ٧٠
[37:70] Therefore, they followed their footsteps.
3857 1711 2793 1236 971 - - 778 -
وَلَقَدْ ضَلَّ قَبْلَهُمْ أَكْثَرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ٧١
[37:71] And indeed before them, many of the previous generations had gone astray.
3858 1712 2794 1237 - - - - -
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا فِيهِم مُّنذِرِينَ٧٢
[37:72] In spite of the fact that We indeed sent to them warners.
3859 1713 2795 1238 972 - - 779 -
فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ٧٣
[37:73] Therefore, observe the consequences for those who were warned.
3860 1714 2796 1239 - 1409 2103 - 481
إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ٧٤
[37:74] Exempted are God ’s servants who are purely devoted to Him.
3861 1715 2797 1240 - - - - -
وَلَقَدْ نَادَىٰنَا نُوحٌۭ فَلَنِعْمَ ٱلْمُجِيبُونَ٧٥
[37:75] And surely Noah called upon Us and We are the best responder.
3862 1716 2798 1241 - - - - -
وَنَجَّيْنَٰهُ وَأَهْلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلْكَرْبِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ٧٦
[37:76] And We saved him and his family from the great disaster.
3863 1717 2799 1242 - - - - -
وَجَعَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُۥ هُمُ ٱلْبَاقِينَ٧٧
[37:77] And made his progeny lasting.
3864 1718 2800 1243 - - - - -
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ٧٨
[37:78] And We preserved their history for the subsequent generations.
3865 1719 2801 1244 973 - - 780 -
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ نُوحٍۢ فِى ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ٧٩
[37:79] Peace upon Noah amongst all the people.
3866 1720 2802 1245 - - - - -
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ٨٠
[37:80] We thus indeed reward the righteous.
3867 1721 2803 1246 - - - - -
إِنَّهُۥ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ٨١
[37:81] He was indeed one of Our faithful servants.
3868 1722 2804 1247 - - - - -
ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا ٱلْءَاخَرِينَ٨٢
[37:82] We then drowned the rest.
3869 1723 2805 1248 974 - - 781 -
وَإِنَّ مِن شِيعَتِهِۦ لَإِبْرَٰهِيمَ٨٣
[37:83] And indeed Abraham belonged to his creed.
3870 1724 2806 1249 - - - - -
إِذْ جَآءَ رَبَّهُۥ بِقَلْبٍۢ سَلِيمٍ٨٤
[37:84] As he came to his Lord with a peaceful heart.
3871 1725 2807 1250 - - - - -
إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِۦ مَاذَا تَعْبُدُونَ٨٥
[37:85] When he said to his father and to his people; what are you worshiping?
3872 1726 2808 1251 - 1410 2104 - 482
أَئِفْكًا ءَالِهَةًۭ دُونَ ٱللَّهِ تُرِيدُونَ٨٦
[37:86] Is it fabricated gods besides God that you wish?
3873 1727 2809 1252 - - - - -
فَمَا ظَنُّكُم بِرَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ٨٧
[37:87] Then what do you think of the Lord of the multiverse?
3874 1728 2810 1253 - - - - -
فَنَظَرَ نَظْرَةًۭ فِى ٱلنُّجُومِ٨٨
[37:88] He then took a look at the stars.
3875 1729 2811 1254 975 - - 782 -
فَقَالَ إِنِّى سَقِيمٌۭ٨٩
[37:89] He then said; I am indeed sick of this; -
3876 1730 2812 1255 - - - - -
فَتَوَلَّوْا۟ عَنْهُ مُدْبِرِينَ٩٠
[37:90] -as they set and he lost sight of them.
3877 1731 2813 1256 - - - - -
فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰٓ ءَالِهَتِهِمْ فَقَالَ أَلَا تَأْكُلُونَ٩١
[37:91] Then he turned to their gods and said; why do you not eat?
3878 1732 2814 1257 - - - - -
مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَنطِقُونَ٩٢
[37:92] Why do you not speak?
3879 1733 2815 1258 - - - - -
فَرَاغَ عَلَيْهِمْ ضَرْبًۢا بِٱلْيَمِينِ٩٣
[37:93] He then turned against them, striking them with his right hand.
3880 1734 2816 1259 - - - - -
فَأَقْبَلُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِ يَزِفُّونَ٩٤
[37:94] Afterwards, they came to him rushing..
3881 1735 2817 1260 - - - - -
قَالَ أَتَعْبُدُونَ مَا تَنْحِتُونَ٩٥
[37:95] He said; do you worship what you carve?
3882 1736 2818 1261 - 1411 2105 - 483
وَٱللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ وَمَا تَعْمَلُونَ٩٦
[37:96] While God is the One who created you and everything you make.
3883 1737 2819 1262 976 - - 783 -
قَالُوا۟ ٱبْنُوا۟ لَهُۥ بُنْيَٰنًۭا فَأَلْقُوهُ فِى ٱلْجَحِيمِ٩٧
[37:97] They said, let us build for him a furnace, and throw him in the inferno.
3884 1738 2820 1263 - - - - -
فَأَرَادُوا۟ بِهِۦ كَيْدًۭا فَجَعَلْنَٰهُمُ ٱلْأَسْفَلِينَ٩٨
[37:98] Therefore, they decided to conspire against him and We made them lowly.
3885 1739 2821 1264 - - - - -
وَقَالَ إِنِّى ذَاهِبٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّى سَيَهْدِينِ٩٩
[37:99] And he said; I am going to my Lord, He will guide me.
3886 1740 2822 1265 - - - - -
رَبِّ هَبْ لِى مِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ١٠٠
[37:100] My Lord; grant me from the lot of the righteous.
3887 1741 2823 1266 977 - - 784 -
فَبَشَّرْنَٰهُ بِغُلَٰمٍ حَلِيمٍۢ١٠١
[37:101] We therefore gave him the good news of a clement son.
3888 1742 2824 1267 - 1412 2106 - 484
فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ ٱلسَّعْىَ قَالَ يَٰبُنَىَّ إِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰ فِى ٱلْمَنَامِ أَنِّىٓ أَذْبَحُكَ فَٱنظُرْ مَاذَا تَرَىٰ قَالَ يَٰٓأَبَتِ ٱفْعَلْ مَا تُؤْمَرُ سَتَجِدُنِىٓ إِن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ١٠٢
[37:102] Then, when he reached the age to walk with him, he said; O my son, indeed I see in a dream that I must sacrifice you, therefore, tell me what you think of this? He said; O my father, do as you are commanded; you will find me, God willing steadfast.

فَلَمَّآ أَسْلَمَا وَتَلَّهُۥ لِلْجَبِينِ١٠٣
[37:103] Then when they both submitted, and he laid on his side-
3890 1744 2826 1269 - - - - -
وَنَٰدَيْنَٰهُ أَن يَٰٓإِبْرَٰهِيمُ١٠٤
[37:104] -and We called on to him; O Abraham!
3891 1745 2827 1270 - - - - -
قَدْ صَدَّقْتَ ٱلرُّءْيَآ إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ١٠٥
[37:105] You are only fulfilling a dream. We thus certainly reward the pious.

إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلْبَلَٰٓؤُا۟ ٱلْمُبِينُ١٠٦
[37:106] This was a clear test.
3893 1747 2829 1272 979 - - 786 -
وَفَدَيْنَٰهُ بِذِبْحٍ عَظِيمٍۢ١٠٧
[37:107] And We ransomed him with a splendid sacrifice.
3894 1748 2830 1273 - - - - -
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ١٠٨
[37:108] And We preserved this for the later generations.
3895 1749 2831 1274 980 - - 787 -
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ١٠٩
[37:109] Peace upon Abraham.
3896 1750 2832 1275 - - - - -
كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ١١٠
[37:110] We thus reward the pious.
3897 1751 2833 1276 - - - - -
إِنَّهُۥ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ١١١
[37:111] He was indeed one of our faithful servants.
3898 1752 2834 1277 - - - - -
وَبَشَّرْنَٰهُ بِإِسْحَٰقَ نَبِيًّۭا مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ١١٢
[37:112] And We gave him the good news of Isaac, a prophet, one of the righteous.
3899 1753 2835 1278 981 - - 788 -
وَبَٰرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَىٰٓ إِسْحَٰقَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا مُحْسِنٌۭ وَظَالِمٌۭ لِّنَفْسِهِۦ مُبِينٌۭ١١٣
[37:113] And We blessed him and Isaac, and amongst their descendants, some are righteous, and some are clearly transgressing against their souls.
3900 1754 2836 1279 - - - - -
وَلَقَدْ مَنَنَّا عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ١١٤
[37:114] And We also indeed blessed Moses and Aaron,
3901 1755 2837 1280 - - - - -
وَنَجَّيْنَٰهُمَا وَقَوْمَهُمَا مِنَ ٱلْكَرْبِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ١١٥
[37:115] And We saved them both as well as their people from a great disaster.
3902 1756 2838 1281 - - - - -
وَنَصَرْنَٰهُمْ فَكَانُوا۟ هُمُ ٱلْغَٰلِبِينَ١١٦
[37:116] And We helped them; consequently, they were victorious.
3903 1757 2839 1282 - - - - -
وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُمَا ٱلْكِتَٰبَ ٱلْمُسْتَبِينَ١١٧
[37:117] And We gave them the clarifying scripture.
3904 1758 2840 1283 - - - - -
وَهَدَيْنَٰهُمَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَ١١٨
[37:118] And We guided them both to the straight path.
3905 1759 2841 1284 - - - - -
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِمَا فِى ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ١١٩
[37:119] And We preserved their history for the later generations.
3906 1760 2842 1285 - - - - -
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ١٢٠
[37:120] Peace upon Moses and Aaron.
3907 1761 2843 1286 - - - - -
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ١٢١
[37:121] We thus reward the pious.
3908 1762 2844 1287 - - - - -
إِنَّهُمَا مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ١٢٢
[37:122] They were both amongst Our faithful servants.
3909 1763 2845 1288 - - - - -
وَإِنَّ إِلْيَاسَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ١٢٣
[37:123] And indeed Elias was one of the messengers.
3910 1764 2846 1289 - - - - -
إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِۦٓ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ١٢٤
[37:124] When he said to his people, why do you not fear god?
3911 1765 2847 1290 - - - - -
أَتَدْعُونَ بَعْلًۭا وَتَذَرُونَ أَحْسَنَ ٱلْخَٰلِقِينَ١٢٥
[37:125] Do you call upon a statue instead of the best of creators?
3912 1766 2848 1291 - 1413 2107 - 485
ٱللَّهَ رَبَّكُمْ وَرَبَّ ءَابَآئِكُمُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ١٢٦
[37:126] God is your Lord and the Lord of your ancient ancestors.
3913 1767 2849 1292 982 - - 789 -
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَإِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُونَ١٢٧
[37:127] However, they rejected him, and they will surely be summoned.
3914 1768 2850 1293 - 1414 2108 - 486
إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ١٢٨
[37:128] Exempted are God ’s servants who are purely devoted to Him.
3915 1769 2851 1294 - - - - -
وَتَرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ١٢٩
[37:129] And We preserved their history for the subsequent generations.
3916 1770 2852 1295 - - - - -
سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰٓ إِلْ يَاسِينَ١٣٠
[37:130] Peace upon Elias.
3917 1771 2853 1296 983 - - 790 -
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ١٣١
[37:131] We thus indeed reward the pious.
3918 1772 2854 1297 - - - - -
إِنَّهُۥ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ١٣٢
[37:132] He was indeed one of Our faithful servants.
3919 1773 2855 1298 - - - - -
وَإِنَّ لُوطًۭا لَّمِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ١٣٣
[37:133] And surely Lot was one of the messengers.
3920 1774 2856 1299 - - - - -
إِذْ نَجَّيْنَٰهُ وَأَهْلَهُۥٓ أَجْمَعِينَ١٣٤
[37:134] As We saved him and his family, all-together -
3921 1775 2857 1300 - - - - -
إِلَّا عَجُوزًۭا فِى ٱلْغَٰبِرِينَ١٣٥
[37:135] -except an old hag who was left with the doomed.
3922 1776 2858 1301 - - - - -
ثُمَّ دَمَّرْنَا ٱلْءَاخَرِينَ١٣٦
[37:136] We then destroyed the others.
3923 1777 2859 1302 984 - - 791 -
وَإِنَّكُمْ لَتَمُرُّونَ عَلَيْهِم مُّصْبِحِينَ١٣٧
[37:137] And certainly you pass by them during the day -
3924 1778 2860 1303 - - - - -
وَبِٱلَّيْلِ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ١٣٨
[37:138] -and during the night. Do you not use your intelligence?
3925 1779 2861 1304 985 - - 792 -
وَإِنَّ يُونُسَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ١٣٩
[37:139] Also Jonah was one of the messengers.
3926 1780 2862 1305 - - - - -
إِذْ أَبَقَ إِلَى ٱلْفُلْكِ ٱلْمَشْحُونِ١٤٠
[37:140] When he took refuge in the loaded ship.
3927 1781 2863 1306 - - - - -
فَسَاهَمَ فَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُدْحَضِينَ١٤١
[37:141] He joined them, consequently he became a rejecter.
3928 1782 2864 1307 - - - - -
فَٱلْتَقَمَهُ ٱلْحُوتُ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٌۭ١٤٢
[37:142] Then the whale swallowed him, and only he was to be blamed.
3929 1783 2865 1308 - - - - -
فَلَوْلَآ أَنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُسَبِّحِينَ١٤٣
[37:143] Had he not resorted to supplication,-
3930 1784 2866 1309 - - - - -
لَلَبِثَ فِى بَطْنِهِۦٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ١٤٤
[37:144] -he would have surely remained inside his belly until the Day of Resurrection.
3931 1785 2867 1310 - - - - -
فَنَبَذْنَٰهُ بِٱلْعَرَآءِ وَهُوَ سَقِيمٌۭ١٤٥
[37:145] We therefore threw him out into the desert and he was really sick.
3932 1786 2868 1311 - - - - -
وَأَنۢبَتْنَا عَلَيْهِ شَجَرَةًۭ مِّن يَقْطِينٍۢ١٤٦
[37:146] And We grew for him a tree with edible fruit.
3933 1787 2869 1312 - - - - -
وَأَرْسَلْنَٰهُ إِلَىٰ مِا۟ئَةِ أَلْفٍ أَوْ يَزِيدُونَ١٤٧
[37:147] And We dispatched him to a hundred thousand or more.
3934 1788 2870 1313 - - - - -
فَـَٔامَنُوا۟ فَمَتَّعْنَٰهُمْ إِلَىٰ حِينٍۢ١٤٨
[37:148] And they all attained faith; consequently, We let them enjoy for awhile.
3935 1789 2871 1314 986 - - 793 -
فَٱسْتَفْتِهِمْ أَلِرَبِّكَ ٱلْبَنَاتُ وَلَهُمُ ٱلْبَنُونَ١٤٩
[37:149] Ask them; does your Lord have daughters while they have sons?
3936 1790 2872 1315 - - - - -
أَمْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ إِنَٰثًۭا وَهُمْ شَٰهِدُونَ١٥٠
[37:150] Or did We create the angels female, while they were witnessing?
3937 1791 2873 1316 987 - - 794 -
أَلَآ إِنَّهُم مِّنْ إِفْكِهِمْ لَيَقُولُونَ١٥١
[37:151] They do indeed make up other lies as they say;-
3938 1792 2874 1317 - 1415 2109 - 487
وَلَدَ ٱللَّهُ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَكَٰذِبُونَ١٥٢
[37:152] - God has begotten children. However, they are indeed liars.
3939 1793 2875 1318 - - - - -
أَصْطَفَى ٱلْبَنَاتِ عَلَى ٱلْبَنِينَ١٥٣
[37:153] Has He chosen daughters rather than sons?
3940 1794 2876 1319 - - - - -
مَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ١٥٤
[37:154] What is with you? How can you judge like this?
3941 1795 2877 1320 - - - - -
أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ١٥٥
[37:155] Do you not take heed?
3942 1796 2878 1321 - - - - -
أَمْ لَكُمْ سُلْطَٰنٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ١٥٦
[37:156] Or do you have a profound authority?
3943 1797 2879 1322 988 - - 795 -
فَأْتُوا۟ بِكِتَٰبِكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ١٥٧
[37:157] Therefore, bring your scripture if you are truthful.
3944 1798 2880 1323 - - - - -
وَجَعَلُوا۟ بَيْنَهُۥ وَبَيْنَ ٱلْجِنَّةِ نَسَبًۭا وَلَقَدْ عَلِمَتِ ٱلْجِنَّةُ إِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُونَ١٥٨
[37:158] And they also invented a relationship between Him and the jinns; however, the jinns know full well that they all stand ready at His disposal.
3945 1799 2881 1324 - 1416 2110 - 488
سُبْحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ١٥٩
[37:159] Glory to God , far above their descriptions.
3946 1800 2882 1325 - 1417 2111 - 489
إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ١٦٠
[37:160] Exempted are God ’s servants who are devoted purely to Him.
3947 1801 2883 1326 - - - - -
فَإِنَّكُمْ وَمَا تَعْبُدُونَ١٦١
[37:161] Indeed, neither you nor what you worship-
3948 1802 2884 1327 - - - - -
مَآ أَنتُمْ عَلَيْهِ بِفَٰتِنِينَ١٦٢
[37:162] -disturbs Him in the least.
3949 1803 2885 1328 989 - - 796 -
إِلَّا مَنْ هُوَ صَالِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ١٦٣
[37:163] It only disturbs those who are in the heart of the Inferno.
3950 1804 2886 1329 - - - - -
وَمَا مِنَّآ إِلَّا لَهُۥ مَقَامٌۭ مَّعْلُومٌۭ١٦٤
[37:164] Each one of us has a specific rank.
3951 1805 2887 1330 - - - - -
وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ ٱلصَّآفُّونَ١٦٥
[37:165] And we are certainly stratified in rows.
3952 1806 2888 1331 - - - - -
وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ ٱلْمُسَبِّحُونَ١٦٦
[37:166] And we are constantly glorifying god.
3953 1807 2889 1332 990 - - 797 -
وَإِن كَانُوا۟ لَيَقُولُونَ١٦٧
[37:167] And there are those who say,-
3954 1808 2890 1333 - - - - -
لَوْ أَنَّ عِندَنَا ذِكْرًۭا مِّنَ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ١٦٨
[37:168] -only if we had a reminder like that of the previous generations-
3955 1809 2891 1334 - 1418 2112 - 490
لَكُنَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ١٦٩
[37:169] -we would have definitely been servants of God , and would have been purely devoted to Him.
3956 1810 2892 1335 - - - - -
فَكَفَرُوا۟ بِهِۦ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ١٧٠
[37:170] But they rejected him, consequently, they will soon find out.
3957 1811 2893 1336 - - - - -
وَلَقَدْ سَبَقَتْ كَلِمَتُنَا لِعِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ١٧١
[37:171] Our word has already been decreed to Our servants who are messengers.
3958 1812 2894 1337 - - - - -
إِنَّهُمْ لَهُمُ ٱلْمَنصُورُونَ١٧٢
[37:172] Indeed they shall be victorious.
3959 1813 2895 1338 991 - - 798 -
وَإِنَّ جُندَنَا لَهُمُ ٱلْغَٰلِبُونَ١٧٣
[37:173] And Our armies always conquer.
3960 1814 2896 1339 - - - - -
فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍۢ١٧٤
[37:174] Therefore, leave them alone for a while.
3961 1815 2897 1340 - - - - -
وَأَبْصِرْهُمْ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُونَ١٧٥
[37:175] And watch them, they are also watching.
3962 1816 2898 1341 - - - - -
أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونَ١٧٦
[37:176] Are they rushing to receive Our punishment?
3963 1817 2899 1342 - - - - -
فَإِذَا نَزَلَ بِسَاحَتِهِمْ فَسَآءَ صَبَاحُ ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ١٧٧
[37:177] However, when it descends upon their backyard, what a miserable day will it be for those who were warned.
3964 1818 2900 1343 - - - - -
وَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍۢ١٧٨
[37:178] Therefore, ignore them for a while.
3965 1819 2901 1344 992 - - 799 -
وَأَبْصِرْ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُونَ١٧٩
[37:179] And watch, they are also watching.
3966 1820 2902 1345 - - - - -
سُبْحَٰنَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ ٱلْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ١٨٠
[37:180] Glory to your Lord, Lord of dignity, far removed from their descriptions.
3967 1821 2903 1346 993 - - 800 -
وَسَلَٰمٌ عَلَى ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ١٨١
[37:181] And peace upon the messengers.
3968 1822 2904 1347 - 1419 2113 - 491
وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ١٨٢
[37:182] And praise God , Lord of the multiverse.
