بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

وَٱلذَّٰرِيَٰتِ ذَرْوًۭا١

[51:1] By the blowing winds.

فَٱلْحَٰمِلَٰتِ وِقْرًۭا٢

[51:2] Carrying heavy loads.

فَٱلْجَٰرِيَٰتِ يُسْرًۭا٣

[51:3] Bringing prosperity.

فَٱلْمُقَسِّمَٰتِ أَمْرًا٤

[51:4] Distributing it according to the command.

إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَصَادِقٌۭ٥

[51:5] Indeed, what is promised is the truth.

وَإِنَّ ٱلدِّينَ لَوَٰقِعٌۭ٦

[51:6] And indeed the Faith shall overcome.

وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلْحُبُكِ٧

[51:7] By the Sky locus of weaving orbits.

إِنَّكُمْ لَفِى قَوْلٍۢ مُّخْتَلِفٍۢ٨

[51:8] Surely, you continue to dispute.

يُؤْفَكُ عَنْهُ مَنْ أُفِكَ٩

[51:9] Turning away from it is the one who has deviated.

قُتِلَ ٱلْخَرَّٰصُونَ١٠

[51:10] Woe to the conjecturers.

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ فِى غَمْرَةٍۢ سَاهُونَ١١

[51:11] Those who blunder and are completely heedless.

يَسْـَٔلُونَ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ١٢

[51:12] They ask; when will be the Day of Faith?

يَوْمَ هُمْ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ يُفْتَنُونَ١٣

[51:13] That is a Day when they will be tormented in Hell.

ذُوقُوا۟ فِتْنَتَكُمْ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ١٤

[51:14] Taste your torment; this is what you used to challenge.

إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى جَنَّٰتٍۢ وَعُيُونٍ١٥

[51:15] The righteous will indeed abide in Gardens and springs.

ءَاخِذِينَ مَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَبْلَ ذَٰلِكَ مُحْسِنِينَ١٦

[51:16] They only take what their Lord gives them. That is because, even prior to this, they were righteous.

كَانُوا۟ قَلِيلًۭا مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ مَا يَهْجَعُونَ١٧

[51:17] They used to sleep only a little during the night.

وَبِٱلْأَسْحَارِ هُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ١٨

[51:18] And at dawn, they ask for forgiveness.

وَفِىٓ أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ حَقٌّۭ لِّلسَّآئِلِ وَٱلْمَحْرُومِ١٩

[51:19] And a portion of their money is set aside rightfully for the beggar and the deprived.

وَفِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ءَايَٰتٌۭ لِّلْمُوقِنِينَ٢٠

[51:20] And in the land, there are proofs for those who have attained certainty-

وَفِىٓ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ٢١

[51:21] -as well as within yourselves. Do you not then see?

وَفِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ رِزْقُكُمْ وَمَا تُوعَدُونَ٢٢

[51:22] And in the sky is your provision, and that which is promised.

فَوَرَبِّ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ إِنَّهُۥ لَحَقٌّۭ مِّثْلَ مَآ أَنَّكُمْ تَنطِقُونَ٢٣

[51:23] Then, by the Lord of the sky and the land, this is indeed the absolute truth, just like the fact that you indeed speak.

هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ضَيْفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ ٱلْمُكْرَمِينَ٢٤

[51:24] Have you heard the story of Abraham’s honored guests?

إِذْ دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُوا۟ سَلَٰمًۭا قَالَ سَلَٰمٌۭ قَوْمٌۭ مُّنكَرُونَ٢٥

[51:25] When, they arrived in his dwelling, they said: "Peace", he said, "Peace, strangers”.

فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِۦ فَجَآءَ بِعِجْلٍۢ سَمِينٍۢ٢٦

[51:26] He then went to his family and returned with a plump calf.

فَقَرَّبَهُۥٓ إِلَيْهِمْ قَالَ أَلَا تَأْكُلُونَ٢٧

[51:27] He then placed it before them saying; will you not eat?

فَأَوْجَسَ مِنْهُمْ خِيفَةًۭ قَالُوا۟ لَا تَخَفْ وَبَشَّرُوهُ بِغُلَٰمٍ عَلِيمٍۢ٢٨

[51:28] He developed a fear of them. They said; do not be frightened and they gave him the good news of a knowledgeable son.

فَأَقْبَلَتِ ٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ فِى صَرَّةٍۢ فَصَكَّتْ وَجْهَهَا وَقَالَتْ عَجُوزٌ عَقِيمٌۭ٢٩

[51:29] Then his wife came over, surprised with a wrinkled face, and said; I am a sterile old woman.

قَالُوا۟ كَذَٰلِكِ قَالَ رَبُّكِ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ٣٠

[51:30] They said, thus says your Lord. He is The All Wise, The All Knower.

قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكُمْ أَيُّهَا ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ٣١

[51:31] He said, then what is your mission O you messengers?

قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّآ أُرْسِلْنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوْمٍۢ مُّجْرِمِينَ٣٢

[51:32] They said; we have been dispatched to the guilty people.

لِنُرْسِلَ عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةًۭ مِّن طِينٍۢ٣٣

[51:33] In order to shower them with petrified rocks.

مُّسَوَّمَةً عِندَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُسْرِفِينَ٣٤

[51:34] They are marked by your Lord for the transgressors.

فَأَخْرَجْنَا مَن كَانَ فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ٣٥

[51:35] We, however, rescue from their midst the faithful.

فَمَا وَجَدْنَا فِيهَا غَيْرَ بَيْتٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ٣٦

[51:36] We then found only one house of peace-offerers.

وَتَرَكْنَا فِيهَآ ءَايَةًۭ لِّلَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ ٱلْعَذَابَ ٱلْأَلِيمَ٣٧

[51:37] And We left there a sign for those who fear the painful suffering.

وَفِى مُوسَىٰٓ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَٰهُ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ بِسُلْطَٰنٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ٣٨

[51:38] And also Moses, We sent him to Pharaoh, with a manifest authority.

فَتَوَلَّىٰ بِرُكْنِهِۦ وَقَالَ سَٰحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌۭ٣٩

[51:39] However, he turned away along with his elders and said; he is either a magician or crazy.

فَأَخَذْنَٰهُ وَجُنُودَهُۥ فَنَبَذْنَٰهُمْ فِى ٱلْيَمِّ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٌۭ٤٠

[51:40] We, therefore, punished him and his armies and We then threw them into the sea and he was the one to be blamed.

وَفِى عَادٍ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلرِّيحَ ٱلْعَقِيمَ٤١

[51:41] And in Aad, when We sent upon them a devastating wind,-

مَا تَذَرُ مِن شَىْءٍ أَتَتْ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا جَعَلَتْهُ كَٱلرَّمِيمِ٤٢

[51:42] -it destroyed everything as they were reduced to rubble.

وَفِى ثَمُودَ إِذْ قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَمَتَّعُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍۢ٤٣

[51:43] And also the Thamoud, as they were told, enjoy for a while.

فَعَتَوْا۟ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلصَّٰعِقَةُ وَهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ٤٤

[51:44] But they disobeyed the command of their Lord; We therefore punished them with the lightning as they were looking on.

فَمَا ٱسْتَطَٰعُوا۟ مِن قِيَامٍۢ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُنتَصِرِينَ٤٥

[51:45] They could not even stand up, nor could they help each other.

وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍۢ مِّن قَبْلُ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمًۭا فَٰسِقِينَ٤٦

[51:46] And so were the people of Noah previously. They were indeed wicked people.

وَٱلسَّمَآءَ بَنَيْنَٰهَا بِأَيْي۟دٍۢ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ٤٧

[51:47] And We constructed the sky with Our hands and We are indeed expanding it.

وَٱلْأَرْضَ فَرَشْنَٰهَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْمَٰهِدُونَ٤٨

[51:48] And We spread out the land and we made it a blessed oasis.

وَمِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ خَلَقْنَا زَوْجَيْنِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ٤٩

[51:49] And of everything We created a pair that you may be reminded.

فَفِرُّوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ إِنِّى لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ٥٠

[51:50] Therefore, rush towards God ; I am indeed a manifest warner from Him to you.

وَلَا تَجْعَلُوا۟ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ إِنِّى لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ٥١

[51:51] And do not set up another god with God ; I am indeed a manifest warner from Him to you.

كَذَٰلِكَ مَآ أَتَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا قَالُوا۟ سَاحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ٥٢

[51:52] Similarly, there was not a single messenger who went to the previous generations that they did not call a magician or crazy.

أَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِهِۦ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌۭ طَاغُونَ٥٣

[51:53] Is this what they are advocating? No indeed, they are rebellious people.

فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ فَمَآ أَنتَ بِمَلُومٍۢ٥٤

[51:54] Therefore, leave them alone, you are not to be blamed.

وَذَكِّرْ فَإِنَّ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ تَنفَعُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ٥٥

[51:55] And remind, for the reminder will benefit the faithful.

وَمَا خَلَقْتُ ٱلْجِنَّ وَٱلْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ٥٦

[51:56] I did not create the jinns and the humans except to worship Me.

مَآ أُرِيدُ مِنْهُم مِّن رِّزْقٍۢ وَمَآ أُرِيدُ أَن يُطْعِمُونِ٥٧

[51:57] I do not want any provision from them, nor do I want them to feed Me.

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلرَّزَّاقُ ذُو ٱلْقُوَّةِ ٱلْمَتِينُ٥٨

[51:58] Indeed, God is the Provider, Possessor of Power, the Eternal.

فَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ ذَنُوبًۭا مِّثْلَ ذَنُوبِ أَصْحَٰبِهِمْ فَلَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونِ٥٩

[51:59] Then indeed, the sins of the transgressors are just like the sins of their counterparts, so they should not rush it.

فَوَيْلٌۭ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن يَوْمِهِمُ ٱلَّذِى يُوعَدُونَ٦٠

[51:60] Therefore, woe to the unfaithful on the day that is promised to them.
