In the name of God, The All Gracious, The All Merciful

[59:1] Glorifying God constantly is everything in the skies and everything on the land, and He is The Almighty, The All Wise.

[59:2] He is the One who evicted the unfaithful amongst the people of the scripture from their homes in a mass exodus. You never thought that they would leave and they thought that their barriers would protect them from God , however, God came to them from where they least expected, and He threw terror into their hearts. They destroyed their dwellings with their own hands and the hands of the faithful, therefore, you shall heed this warning, O you who possess vision.

[59:3] And if it were not that God had decreed banishment for them, He would have surely made them suffer in this world. And reserved for them in the Hereafter will be the suffering of Hell.

[59:4] This is because they opposed God and His messenger, and whoever opposes God , then, indeed God possesses severe consequences.

[59:5] Whether you cut down a tree or leave it standing on its roots, it was by God ’s leave, and in order to humiliate the wicked.

[59:6] What God has bestowed upon His messenger from them was not because you helped him with horses and cavalry, but God gives authority to His messengers as He wills. And God is All Powerful over all things.

[59:7] What God has bestowed upon His messenger from the people of the communities, belongs to God , and to the messenger and to the relatives and the fatherless and the needy and the refugees; so that it may not be monopolized by the wealthy amongst you. And what the messenger gives you, you shall take and what he enjoins you from, you shall avoid. And fear God ; for indeed God possesses the severest consequence.

[59:8] It shall go to the poor who emigrated, those who were deprived from their homes and their money, seeking a bounty from God and approval, and they help God and His messenger. These are the truthful ones.

[59:9] As for those who are homeowners and attained faith previously, they love those who immigrated to them, and they want nothing in return in their hearts for what they give, and give priority to them over themselves although it may cause them hardship. And those who overcome their stinginess then these are the successful ones.

[59:10] And those who came after them saying; our Lord forgive us and our brethren who attained faith before us, and do not turn our hearts against those who are faithful. Our Lord, you are indeed All Compassionate, All Merciful.

[59:11] Have you noted those who practiced hypocrisy? They say to their unfaithful brethren amongst the people of the scripture, if you are evicted, we too will go with you, and we will never go along with any one who opposes you, and if you are attacked we will help you, and God witnesses that they are indeed liars.

[59:12] If they are evicted, they will never go with them; and if they are attacked, they will never help them; and if they do help them, they will turn and flee; therefore they will never win.

[59:13] They fear you more than they fear God . This is because they are people who do not comprehend.

[59:14] They will not fight you except in fortified castles, or from behind barriers. Their might looks formidable. You may think that they were united, but their hearts are divided. This is because they are a people who indeed do not use their intelligence.

[59:15] It is like the example of those who recently preceded them, they tasted the evil of their deed; and awaiting them is a painful suffering.

[59:16] It is just like Satan when he says to the human being, lose faith! Then as soon as he becomes unfaithful, he says, I disown you, I fear God , Lord of the multiverse.

[59:17] The requital for both of them will be Hell, wherein they dwell forever. And this is a just requital for the unjust.

[59:18] O you faithful; fear God and let every soul expect the result of what she sent forth on her behalf, and fear God . Indeed God is All Cognizant of everything you do.

[59:19] And do not be like those who forgot God ; consequently He made them forget their own souls. These are the wicked ones.

[59:20] Not equal are the dwellers of Hell and the dwellers of Paradise. The dwellers of Paradise are the winners.

[59:21] Had We revealed this Quran to a mountain, you would have seen it humbling itself, crumbling out of reverence for God . And these are examples that We cite for the people that they may think.

[59:22] He is God , the One whom there is no other god except He, He is the knower of all secrets and declarations, He is The All Gracious, The All Merciful.

[59:23] He is God , the One whom there is no other god except He, He is The King, The Holy, The Peace, The Faithful, The Sovereign, The Almighty, The Enforcer, The All Magnificent. Glory to God far above the partners they set up beside Him.

[59:24] He is God , The Creator, The Initiator, and The Designer. To Him belong the Most Beautiful Names. Glorifying Him constantly is everything in the skies and the land and He is The Almighty, The All Wise.
