بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
In the name of God, The All Gracious, The All Merciful

وَٱلشَّمْسِ وَضُحَىٰهَا١
[91:1] By the Sun and the forenoon.

وَٱلْقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلَىٰهَا٢
[91:2] By the Moon as he follows her.
| 6044 | 3301 | 447 | 395 | 1639 | - | - | 166 | - |
وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلَّىٰهَا٣
[91:3] By the daylight as it brightens.

وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰهَا٤
[91:4] By the night as it covers.

وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا بَنَىٰهَا٥
[91:5] By the sky and its structure.
| 6047 | 3304 | 450 | 398 | - | - | - | - | - |
وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا طَحَىٰهَا٦
[91:6] By the land and her expanse.
| 6048 | 3305 | 451 | 399 | 1641 | - | - | 168 | - |
وَنَفْسٍۢ وَمَا سَوَّىٰهَا٧
[91:7] By the Soul, and her balance.

فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَىٰهَا٨
[91:8] And He then inspired in her the understanding of the wrong and the right.

قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن زَكَّىٰهَا٩
[91:9] Indeed, successful is the one who purifies her.
| 6051 | 3308 | 454 | 402 | - | - | - | - | - |
وَقَدْ خَابَ مَن دَسَّىٰهَا١٠
[91:10] And indeed has failed the one who betrays her.
| 6052 | 3309 | 455 | 403 | 1642 | - | - | 169 | - |
كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِطَغْوَىٰهَآ١١
[91:11] Thamoud rejected it rebelliously.

إِذِ ٱنۢبَعَثَ أَشْقَىٰهَا١٢
[91:12] It only brought out the worst in them.

فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ نَاقَةَ ٱللَّهِ وَسُقْيَٰهَا١٣
[91:13] However, messenger of God had told them; it is God ’s camel, so water her.

فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا فَدَمْدَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُم بِذَنۢبِهِمْ فَسَوَّىٰهَا١٤
[91:14] But, they rejected him, and they maimed her, therefore their Lord spoke angrily with them because of their sin, and He then established the balance.

وَلَا يَخَافُ عُقْبَٰهَا١٥
[91:15] And they never feared its consequences.
