تِلْكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱللَّهِ نَتْلُوهَا عَلَيْكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَمَا ٱللَّهُ يُرِيدُ ظُلْمًۭا لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ ﴿١٠٨﴾
[3:108]
These are God ’s Signs, we recite to you truthfully. Moreover, God does not wish injustice for the people.

وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ تُرْجَعُ ٱلْأُمُورُ ﴿١٠٩﴾
[3:109]
And to God belongs what is in the skies and what is on the land. And to God is the destiny of all deeds.

كُنتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْمُرُونَ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَتَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ ٱلْمُنكَرِ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَلَوْ ءَامَنَ أَهْلُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ لَكَانَ خَيْرًۭا لَّهُم مِّنْهُمُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَأَكْثَرُهُمُ ٱلْفَٰسِقُونَ ﴿١١٠﴾
[3:110]
You are the best community that mankind produced, commanding righteousness and forbidding evil, while believing in God . And if the people of the scripture had believed it would have been better for them. Some of them are faithful; however, most of them are wicked.

لَن يَضُرُّوكُمْ إِلَّآ أَذًۭى وَإِن يُقَٰتِلُوكُمْ يُوَلُّوكُمُ ٱلْأَدْبَارَ ثُمَّ لَا يُنصَرُونَ ﴿١١١﴾
[3:111]
They cannot harm you except through torment. And if they fight you they turn around and flee, thereafter they will not be helped.

ضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلذِّلَّةُ أَيْنَ مَا ثُقِفُوٓا۟ إِلَّا بِحَبْلٍۢ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَحَبْلٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَبَآءُو بِغَضَبٍۢ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْمَسْكَنَةُ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ يَكْفُرُونَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَيَقْتُلُونَ ٱلْأَنۢبِيَآءَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّۢ ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا عَصَوا۟ وَّكَانُوا۟ يَعْتَدُونَ ﴿١١٢﴾
[3:112]
Humiliation has befallen them wherever they are encountered, except by a support from God and a support from the people, furthermore, they have deserved a wrath from God and poverty has stricken them. This is because they used to disbelieve in God ’s Signs and killed the prophets unjustly. This is because they rebelled and used to transgress.

Indeed as for the unfaithful, neither their money nor their children will protect them in the least from God . And they are dwellers of Hell. They will abide therein forever.

مَثَلُ مَا يُنفِقُونَ فِى هَٰذِهِ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا كَمَثَلِ رِيحٍۢ فِيهَا صِرٌّ أَصَابَتْ حَرْثَ قَوْمٍۢ ظَلَمُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ فَأَهْلَكَتْهُ وَمَا ظَلَمَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَلَٰكِنْ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ ﴿١١٧﴾
[3:117]
An example of their charity in this worldly life is like the example of a gusting wind hitting the crop of the people who are unjust toward their souls; then it wipes it out completely. Moreover, God was not unjust toward them, but they themselves are unjust.

Searchable text:مثل ما ينفقون في هذه الحياة الدنيا كمثل ريح فيها صر أصابت حرث قوم ظلموا أنفسهم فأهلكته وما ظلمهم الله ولكن أنفسهم يظلمون
Translation:An example of their charity in this worldly life is like the example of a gusting wind hitting the crop of the people who are unjust toward their souls; then it wipes it out completely. Moreover, God was not unjust toward them, but they themselves are unjust.
