[37:1] By the arrangers in rows.

[37:2] And those who stratify down to oblivion.

[37:3] And those who recite the reminder-

[37:4] -proclaiming that surely your god is one.

[37:5] Lord of the skies and the land and everything between them and Lord of all locations of sunrise.

[37:6] We have indeed adorned the lowest sky with splendid planets.

[37:7] And there is a guard against every rebellious devil.

[37:8] They cannot eavesdrop on the high society and they will be bombarded from every direction.

[37:9] Rejected, and for them there is a continuous suffering.

[37:10] As for the one who snatches away something secretly, he will be pursued by a powerful projectile.

[37:11] Therefore, ask them, are they more difficult to create than all We have created? Indeed We created them from sticky mud.

[37:12] While you are in awe, they are mocking.

[37:13] And, when they are reminded they do not take heed.

[37:14] And, when they see a sign, they mock.

[37:15] And they say; this is nothing but clear magic.

[37:16] When we die, and become dust and bones, will we be resurrected-

[37:17] -also our forefathers?

[37:18] Say, definitely, and you will be forced.

[37:19] Then it will be a single blow while they are waiting.

[37:20] They will say, woe to us, this is the Day of Faith.

[37:21] This is the day of reckoning that you used to deny.

[37:22] Summon unjust together with their spouses and what they used to worship –

[37:23] -besides God , then lead them to the path of the Inferno.

[37:24] Stop them, indeed they will be asked,-

[37:25] -why do you not help each other?

[37:26] No way, on that day they will strive for submission.

[37:27] And they turn to one another wondering-

[37:28] -they say; indeed you were the ones who came to us acting so holy.

[37:29] They say; no you, yourselves were not faithful.

[37:30] And we had no power over you. No, it was you who were transgressing people.

[37:31] Now, our Lord’s promise has been fulfilled for us, we indeed have to taste it.

[37:32] We misled you, because we were indeed misled ourselves.

[37:33] Therefore, surely on that day they all share in the suffering.

[37:34] We thus deal with the guilty.

[37:35] This is indeed because when they were told; “There is no god except God ”, they turned arrogant.

[37:36] And they say; should we abandon our gods for the sake of a crazy poet?

[37:37] On the contrary, he has brought the truth and he has confirmed the messengers.

[37:38] You will surely endure the painful suffering.

[37:39] And you will be repaid exactly for what you did.

[37:40] Exempted are God ’s servants who are devoted purely to Him.

[37:41] For them, there is a specific provision.

[37:42] There will be fruits and they will be honored-

[37:43] -in blissful Gardens.

[37:44] On luxurious furnishings, they will be neighbors.

[37:45] They will be readily served with a cup filled from a pure spring.

[37:46] Clear drinks with delicious taste for the drinkers.

[37:47] Never polluted, and never runs out.

[37:48] And beside them will be beautiful companions.

[37:49] They are like a protected egg.

[37:50] As they turn to one another wondering, –

[37:51] -one of them says, indeed I used to have a friend.

[37:52] He used to say; are you really telling the truth-

[37:53] -that when we die and become dust and bones, we will be held accountable?

[37:54] He said; do you wish to take a look?

[37:55] Once he looks, he sees him in the midst of the Inferno.

[37:56] He said; by God , you almost diverted me.

[37:57] If it were not for the blessing of my Lord, I would have been definitely there.

[37:58] Do you still maintain that we never die,-

[37:59] -that we only die once, and we will never suffer?

[37:60] This is truly the greatest triumph.

[37:61] For the likes of this, every worker shall work.

[37:62] Is this better or the tree of bitterness?

[37:63] We indeed created it as a torment for the unjust.

[37:64] Indeed it is a tree that grows in the midst of the Inferno.

[37:65] Its blossoms are like heads of demons.

[37:66] Then they will eat from it and they fill their bellies.

[37:67] Then they top it off with a hellish drink.

[37:68] Afterwards, they continue to suffer the Inferno.

[37:69] They indeed found their fathers astray.

[37:70] Therefore, they followed their footsteps.

[37:71] And indeed before them, many of the previous generations had gone astray.

[37:72] In spite of the fact that We indeed sent to them warners.

[37:73] Therefore, observe the consequences for those who were warned.

[37:74] Exempted are God ’s servants who are purely devoted to Him.

[37:75] And surely Noah called upon Us and We are the best responder.

[37:76] And We saved him and his family from the great disaster.

[37:77] And made his progeny lasting.

[37:78] And We preserved their history for the subsequent generations.

[37:79] Peace upon Noah amongst all the people.

[37:80] We thus indeed reward the righteous.

[37:81] He was indeed one of Our faithful servants.

[37:82] We then drowned the rest.

[37:83] And indeed Abraham belonged to his creed.

[37:84] As he came to his Lord with a peaceful heart.

[37:85] When he said to his father and to his people; what are you worshiping?

[37:86] Is it fabricated gods besides God that you wish?

[37:87] Then what do you think of the Lord of the multiverse?

[37:88] He then took a look at the stars.

[37:89] He then said; I am indeed sick of this; –

[37:90] -as they set and he lost sight of them.

[37:91] Then he turned to their gods and said; why do you not eat?

[37:92] Why do you not speak?

[37:93] He then turned against them, striking them with his right hand.

[37:94] Afterwards, they came to him rushing..

[37:95] He said; do you worship what you carve?

[37:96] While God is the One who created you and everything you make.

[37:97] They said, let us build for him a furnace, and throw him in the inferno.

[37:98] Therefore, they decided to conspire against him and We made them lowly.

[37:99] And he said; I am going to my Lord, He will guide me.

[37:100] My Lord; grant me from the lot of the righteous.

[37:101] We therefore gave him the good news of a clement son.

[37:102] Then, when he reached the age to walk with him, he said; O my son, indeed I see in a dream that I must sacrifice you, therefore, tell me what you think of this? He said; O my father, do as you are commanded; you will find me, God willing steadfast.

[37:103] Then when they both submitted, and he laid on his side-

[37:104] -and We called on to him; O Abraham!

[37:105] You are only fulfilling a dream. We thus certainly reward the pious.

[37:106] This was a clear test.

[37:107] And We ransomed him with a splendid sacrifice.

[37:108] And We preserved this for the later generations.

[37:109] Peace upon Abraham.

[37:110] We thus reward the pious.

[37:111] He was indeed one of our faithful servants.

[37:112] And We gave him the good news of Isaac, a prophet, one of the righteous.

[37:113] And We blessed him and Isaac, and amongst their descendants, some are righteous, and some are clearly transgressing against their souls.

[37:114] And We also indeed blessed Moses and Aaron,

[37:115] And We saved them both as well as their people from a great disaster.

[37:116] And We helped them; consequently, they were victorious.

[37:117] And We gave them the clarifying scripture.

[37:118] And We guided them both to the straight path.

[37:119] And We preserved their history for the later generations.

[37:120] Peace upon Moses and Aaron.

[37:121] We thus reward the pious.

[37:122] They were both amongst Our faithful servants.

[37:123] And indeed Elias was one of the messengers.

[37:124] When he said to his people, why do you not fear god?

[37:125] Do you call upon a statue instead of the best of creators?

[37:126] God is your Lord and the Lord of your ancient ancestors.

[37:127] However, they rejected him, and they will surely be summoned.

[37:128] Exempted are God ’s servants who are purely devoted to Him.

[37:129] And We preserved their history for the subsequent generations.

[37:130] Peace upon Elias.

[37:131] We thus indeed reward the pious.

[37:132] He was indeed one of Our faithful servants.

[37:133] And surely Lot was one of the messengers.

[37:134] As We saved him and his family, all-together –

[37:135] -except an old hag who was left with the doomed.

[37:136] We then destroyed the others.

[37:137] And certainly you pass by them during the day –

[37:138] -and during the night. Do you not use your intelligence?

[37:139] Also Jonah was one of the messengers.

[37:140] When he took refuge in the loaded ship.

[37:141] He joined them, consequently he became a rejecter.

[37:142] Then the whale swallowed him, and only he was to be blamed.

[37:143] Had he not resorted to supplication,-

[37:144] -he would have surely remained inside his belly until the Day of Resurrection.

[37:145] We therefore threw him out into the desert and he was really sick.

[37:146] And We grew for him a tree with edible fruit.

[37:147] And We dispatched him to a hundred thousand or more.

[37:148] And they all attained faith; consequently, We let them enjoy for awhile.

[37:149] Ask them; does your Lord have daughters while they have sons?

[37:150] Or did We create the angels female, while they were witnessing?

[37:151] They do indeed make up other lies as they say;-

[37:152] – God has begotten children. However, they are indeed liars.

[37:153] Has He chosen daughters rather than sons?

[37:154] What is with you? How can you judge like this?

[37:155] Do you not take heed?

[37:156] Or do you have a profound authority?

[37:157] Therefore, bring your scripture if you are truthful.

[37:158] And they also invented a relationship between Him and the jinns; however, the jinns know full well that they all stand ready at His disposal.

[37:159] Glory to God , far above their descriptions.

[37:160] Exempted are God ’s servants who are devoted purely to Him.

[37:161] Indeed, neither you nor what you worship-

[37:162] -disturbs Him in the least.

[37:163] It only disturbs those who are in the heart of the Inferno.

[37:164] Each one of us has a specific rank.

[37:165] And we are certainly stratified in rows.

[37:166] And we are constantly glorifying god.

[37:167] And there are those who say,-

[37:168] -only if we had a reminder like that of the previous generations-

[37:169] -we would have definitely been servants of God , and would have been purely devoted to Him.

[37:170] But they rejected him, consequently, they will soon find out.

[37:171] Our word has already been decreed to Our servants who are messengers.

[37:172] Indeed they shall be victorious.

[37:173] And Our armies always conquer.

[37:174] Therefore, leave them alone for a while.

[37:175] And watch them, they are also watching.

[37:176] Are they rushing to receive Our punishment?

[37:177] However, when it descends upon their backyard, what a miserable day will it be for those who were warned.

[37:178] Therefore, ignore them for a while.

[37:179] And watch, they are also watching.

[37:180] Glory to your Lord, Lord of dignity, far removed from their descriptions.

[37:181] And peace upon the messengers.

[37:182] And praise God , Lord of the multiverse.
