إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ فِى لَيْلَةٍۢ مُّبَٰرَكَةٍ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُنذِرِينَ ﴿٣﴾
[44:3] We surely revealed it during a blessed night. We indeed dispatch warners.
فِيهَا يُفْرَقُ كُلُّ أَمْرٍ حَكِيمٍ ﴿٤﴾
[44:4] In it every wise command has been detailed.
أَمْرًۭا مِّنْ عِندِنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُرْسِلِينَ ﴿٥﴾
[44:5] It is a command from Us. Indeed We dispatch messengers.
رَحْمَةًۭ مِّن رَّبِّكَ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ ﴿٦﴾
[44:6] It is a mercy from your Lord. Indeed, He is The All Hearer, The All Knower.
رَبِّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ إِن كُنتُم مُّوقِنِينَ ﴿٧﴾
[44:7] The Lord of the skies and the land and everything between them, if you have attained certainty.
لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ يُحْىِۦ وَيُمِيتُ رَبُّكُمْ وَرَبُّ ءَابَآئِكُمُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ﴿٨﴾
[44:8] There is no god except He; He grants life and death. He is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors.
بَلْ هُمْ فِى شَكٍّۢ يَلْعَبُونَ ﴿٩﴾
[44:9] However, they are full of doubt, playful.
فَٱرْتَقِبْ يَوْمَ تَأْتِى ٱلسَّمَآءُ بِدُخَانٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ ﴿١٠﴾
[44:10] Then be on the watch for the day when the sky brings forth a tremendous smoke.
يَغْشَى ٱلنَّاسَ هَٰذَا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۭ ﴿١١﴾
[44:11] It will envelope the people. This will be a painful suffering.
رَّبَّنَا ٱكْشِفْ عَنَّا ٱلْعَذَابَ إِنَّا مُؤْمِنُونَ ﴿١٢﴾
[44:12] Our Lord, remove the adversity from us, now we are indeed believers.
أَنَّىٰ لَهُمُ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ وَقَدْ جَآءَهُمْ رَسُولٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ ﴿١٣﴾
[44:13] Only now do they take heed, despite the fact that a proven messenger did come to them.
ثُمَّ تَوَلَّوْا۟ عَنْهُ وَقَالُوا۟ مُعَلَّمٌۭ مَّجْنُونٌ ﴿١٤﴾
[44:14] But they turned away from him and said; he is knowledgeable but crazy.
إِنَّا كَاشِفُوا۟ ٱلْعَذَابِ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُمْ عَآئِدُونَ ﴿١٥﴾
[44:15] We will indeed remove the adversity a little, but you will surely revert.
يَوْمَ نَبْطِشُ ٱلْبَطْشَةَ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰٓ إِنَّا مُنتَقِمُونَ ﴿١٦﴾
[44:16] The day We deliver the great blow, We shall certainly avenge.
وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَجَآءَهُمْ رَسُولٌۭ كَرِيمٌ ﴿١٧﴾
[44:17] And We surely tested before them the people of Pharaoh, when an honorable messenger came to them.
أَنْ أَدُّوٓا۟ إِلَىَّ عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ إِنِّى لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌۭ ﴿١٨﴾
[44:18] Saying; let God ’s servants go with me, I am indeed an honest messenger dispatched to you.
وَأَن لَّا تَعْلُوا۟ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ إِنِّىٓ ءَاتِيكُم بِسُلْطَٰنٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ ﴿١٩﴾
[44:19] And do not be arrogant toward God . I indeed come to you with a profound authority.
وَإِنِّى عُذْتُ بِرَبِّى وَرَبِّكُمْ أَن تَرْجُمُونِ ﴿٢٠﴾
[44:20] I have indeed sought refuge in my Lord and your Lord, lest you stone me.
وَإِن لَّمْ تُؤْمِنُوا۟ لِى فَٱعْتَزِلُونِ ﴿٢١﴾
[44:21] If you do not believe me, at least leave me alone.
فَدَعَا رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ قَوْمٌۭ مُّجْرِمُونَ ﴿٢٢﴾
[44:22] He then called upon his Lord, saying; these are indeed guilty people.
فَأَسْرِ بِعِبَادِى لَيْلًا إِنَّكُم مُّتَّبَعُونَ ﴿٢٣﴾
[44:23] Therefore, travel with My servants by night, you will be surely pursued.
وَٱتْرُكِ ٱلْبَحْرَ رَهْوًا إِنَّهُمْ جُندٌۭ مُّغْرَقُونَ ﴿٢٤﴾
[44:24] Cross the subdued sea, for indeed they are an army to be drowned.
كَمْ تَرَكُوا۟ مِن جَنَّٰتٍۢ وَعُيُونٍۢ ﴿٢٥﴾
[44:25] They left behind many gardens and springs-
وَزُرُوعٍۢ وَمَقَامٍۢ كَرِيمٍۢ ﴿٢٦﴾
[44:26] -and crops and an honorable position,-
وَنَعْمَةٍۢ كَانُوا۟ فِيهَا فَٰكِهِينَ ﴿٢٧﴾
[44:27] -as well as blessings which they enjoyed.
كَذَٰلِكَ وَأَوْرَثْنَٰهَا قَوْمًا ءَاخَرِينَ ﴿٢٨﴾
[44:28] It was so decreed and We made other people inheritors.
فَمَا بَكَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ وَٱلْأَرْضُ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُنظَرِينَ ﴿٢٩﴾
[44:29] And neither the sky nor the land wept for them and they were never given a respite.
وَلَقَدْ نَجَّيْنَا بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ مِنَ ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلْمُهِينِ ﴿٣٠﴾
[44:30] And We indeed delivered the Children of Israel from the humiliating punishment-
مِن فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ عَالِيًۭا مِّنَ ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ ﴿٣١﴾
[44:31] -of Pharaoh. He was surely arrogant, a transgressor.
وَلَقَدِ ٱخْتَرْنَٰهُمْ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍ عَلَى ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ ﴿٣٢﴾
[44:32] And We indeed chose them with full knowledge over all the people.
وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُم مِّنَ ٱلْءَايَٰتِ مَا فِيهِ بَلَٰٓؤٌۭا۟ مُّبِينٌ ﴿٣٣﴾
[44:33] And gave them signs wherein there was a proven test.
إِنْ هِىَ إِلَّا مَوْتَتُنَا ٱلْأُولَىٰ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُنشَرِينَ ﴿٣٥﴾
[44:35] -we only die once and we will never be resurrected.
فَأْتُوا۟ بِـَٔابَآئِنَآ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ ﴿٣٦﴾
[44:36] Then bring our ancestors, if you are truthful.
أَهُمْ خَيْرٌ أَمْ قَوْمُ تُبَّعٍۢ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ أَهْلَكْنَٰهُمْ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ مُجْرِمِينَ ﴿٣٧﴾
[44:37] Are they better than the people of Tubba and those before them? We destroyed them because they were guilty.
وَمَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا لَٰعِبِينَ ﴿٣٨﴾
[44:38] And We did not create the skies and the land, and everything between them, just to play.
مَا خَلَقْنَٰهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ﴿٣٩﴾
[44:39] We did not create them except with the truth, but most of them do not know.
إِنَّ يَوْمَ ٱلْفَصْلِ مِيقَٰتُهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ ﴿٤٠﴾
[44:40] Indeed, the Day of Judgment is promised to all of them.
يَوْمَ لَا يُغْنِى مَوْلًى عَن مَّوْلًۭى شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ ﴿٤١﴾
[44:41] The Day when no friend can help a friend in the least, nor can they receive any help.
إِلَّا مَن رَّحِمَ ٱللَّهُ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ﴿٤٢﴾
[44:42] Exempted are those whom God showered with His mercy. He is surely The Almighty, The All Merciful.
كَٱلْمُهْلِ يَغْلِى فِى ٱلْبُطُونِ ﴿٤٥﴾
[44:45] Like lava; it will boil in their bellies.
خُذُوهُ فَٱعْتِلُوهُ إِلَىٰ سَوَآءِ ٱلْجَحِيمِ ﴿٤٧﴾
[44:47] Take him and throw him into the midst of the Inferno.
ثُمَّ صُبُّوا۟ فَوْقَ رَأْسِهِۦ مِنْ عَذَابِ ٱلْحَمِيمِ ﴿٤٨﴾
[44:48] Then pour on the top of his head suffering of hellish liquid.
ذُقْ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْكَرِيمُ ﴿٤٩﴾
[44:49] Taste it, you used to be truly mighty and honorable.
إِنَّ هَٰذَا مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَمْتَرُونَ ﴿٥٠﴾
[44:50] Indeed this is what you used to doubt.
إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى مَقَامٍ أَمِينٍۢ ﴿٥١﴾
[44:51] Indeed the righteous will have a secure position-
يَلْبَسُونَ مِن سُندُسٍۢ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٍۢ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ ﴿٥٣﴾
[44:53] They will have clothes of velvet and satin; they will be neighbors.
كَذَٰلِكَ وَزَوَّجْنَٰهُم بِحُورٍ عِينٍۢ ﴿٥٤﴾
[44:54] It is so decreed and We will join them with beautiful spouses.
يَدْعُونَ فِيهَا بِكُلِّ فَٰكِهَةٍ ءَامِنِينَ ﴿٥٥﴾
[44:55] Therein they may wish for every kind of fruit in perfect security.
لَا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا ٱلْمَوْتَ إِلَّا ٱلْمَوْتَةَ ٱلْأُولَىٰ وَوَقَىٰهُمْ عَذَابَ ٱلْجَحِيمِ ﴿٥٦﴾
[44:56] They will never taste death therein except the first death, and We have spared them the agony of the Inferno.
فَضْلًۭا مِّن رَّبِّكَ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ ﴿٥٧﴾
[44:57] Generosity from your Lord. That is the greatest victory.
فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَٰهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ ﴿٥٨﴾
[44:58] We made it easy in your tongue that they may take heed.
