[92:1] By the night as it covers.

[92:2] By the day as it brightens.

[92:3] By what created the male and the female.

[92:4] Your works are of various kinds.

[92:5] As for the one who is charitable and righteous-

[92:6] -and embraces goodness,-

[92:7] -We will direct him towards happiness.

[92:8] But the one who is stingy and rich-

[92:9] -and rejects goodness,-

[92:10] -We will direct him towards misery.

[92:11] His money will never help him, once he falls.­

[92:12] Surely, it is Us who guides.

[92:13] To Us belongs the Hereafter as well as this life.

[92:14] Therefore, I warn you of a blazing Fire.

[92:15] Burning therein is the wicked.

[92:16] The one who rejected and turned away.

[92:17] Avoiding it is the righteous.

[92:18] The one who gives from his money in order to cleanse it.

[92:19] He wants nothing in return.

[92:20] He seeks only the face of his Lord, The Exalted.

[92:21] And he will soon be pleased.
