[96:1] Read in the name of your Lord who created.

[96:2] Created the human being from an embryo.

[96:3] Read and your Lord, the most honorable.

[96:4] The One who teaches how to write.

[96:5] He teaches the man what he does not know.

[96:6] Absolutely, indeed the human being is always rebellious.

[96:7] He sees himself in no need.

[96:8] Indeed, to your Lord is the final return.

[96:9] Do you see the one who forbids-

[96:10] -a servant of god from praying?

[96:11] Is it not better if he were guided-

[96:12] -or advocated righteousness?

[96:13] Do you see the one who rejects and ignores?

[96:14] Does he not realize that God can see him?

[96:15] Absolutely, unless he refrains, We will indeed take him by the forelock.

[96:16] The forelock of a liar, a wrong-doer.

[96:17] Therefore, let him call for help.

[96:18] We will summon the Guardians of Hell.

[96:19] Absolutely, do not obey him and fall prostrate and come closer.
