وَإِذِ ٱبْتَلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِۦمَ رَبُّهُۥ بِكَلِمَٰتٍۢ فَأَتَمَّهُنَّ قَالَ إِنِّى جَاعِلُكَ لِلنَّاسِ إِمَامًۭا قَالَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِى قَالَ لَا يَنَالُ عَهْدِى ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ﴿١٢٤﴾
| Sura/Verse: | 2:124 |
| Searchable text: | وإذ ابتلى إبراهيم ربه بكلمات فأتمهن قال إني جاعلك للناس إماما قال ومن ذريتي قال لا ينال عهدي الظالمين |
| Translation: | And when Abraham was tested by his Lord through words which he subsequently was able to fulfill, He said, indeed I am appointing you a leader of the people; he said and what about my descendants? He said, My promise does not extend to the transgressors. |
